Tatsumaki: Can you people go easy on me?
Tom: Yeah
Tatsumaki: This chapter is entirely introductory. There will be no swearing. But there will be later. There definitely will be swearing later
My life is perfect, well, more like, was perfect. You know, that's not a good start of an introduction. So, here's a decent introduction.
My names Tom. I live in Minneapolis, MN. My life used to be perfect. I started out as a regular kid, but by the time I was ten I found out that I was a conduit. The government then randomly gave me conduit powers. They're over the winds. Then right when I become the most popular guy at school, the world starts to end! The beast, a fiery creature that only wants to rip all your guts out than use them as a lasso to catch the friend that is with you. Life still goes on. So the beast destroyed everything in my city. My family died but I was able to escape using my powers. I tried to fight the beast but my dying mother told me to get away. When I flew out of the city I found something out. Minneapolis was the last place to be destroyed, except for Empire City. Using my flying powers I got there before the beast but still, the U.S.A. looked terrible. I wonder why Empire City was the last place to be destroyed. Probably because that city had the highest amount of conduits in the world. When the beast arrived at Empire City, I was sleeping on top of a skyscraper. The beast made a loud roar, which woke me up. After that it destroyed all of Empire City. I watched it kill the last few people. It was about to kill the last surviving member of the family when there was a flash of light, which was emitted from the man. When the light disappeared the beast had disintegrated.
The man looked up at where I was. "You can get down from there," he said.
"Alright." I flew down next to the man.
"You are conduit. Right?"
"Yeah."
"Well, I'm going back in time to stop the beast. You want your family back. And so do I. do you want to go back in time to stop your family from dying?"
"Yes."
"Alright then, lets go." He raised his hand high above his head. A blue ball of energy materialized in his palm. The guy muttered something under his breath. The ball expanded. It consumed the guy and I. The world that was outside of the blue ball disappeared. After a few minutes we appeared somewhere strange. It looked like Empire City except that it was in the fifty's. The early fifty's. The blue orb disappeared, leaving us in an alleyway. The guy started to walk away.
"Hey! Where are you going?" I asked. Aren't we going to work together?"
"No."
"Okay." I was used to people not wanting to work with me so I let him walk away. He was about to walk out of the alleyway and onto the sidewalk when I realized that I didn't know his name. "Hey!"
W ith his back towards me he said, "What?"
"You didn't tell me your name. So… what's your name?"
"Kessler."
Tatsumaki: You really know how to deal with things
Tom: Yeah, I do
Tatsumaki: FYI, the chapters will be longer and they will be more interesting.
