It's over. What's over? The chase. Last week I was returned to the Midgard Library. I was raised there. That place was so ridiculous. So cliche. Everyone from that place was gross. I had a friend there, Flavia was her name. She was decent. She had a weird nickname. Flavia the Fibber. I don't know why.
I don't know why I keep on blabbering on. My name's Hikari ,and I was very famous before all of this crap happened. I was a thief who stole a fourth of Caledonia's money once. Sadly, they caught me. And instead of imprisoning me stop on, they trap me there. In the Midgard Library. After a while, I was told that I had to escort their snobby prince through some ruins for a ritual. I couldn't do it alone. I had to do it with the awkward and sweaty Flavia. The professor there spoke to us about how the prime minister of Caledonia chose us to do the mission. It was strange that he chose us. A liar and a thief. He must have been so old his brains rotted out through his eye sockets.
Flavia and I departed and had to walk over by foot. It took sometime, but we made it. We were told that we had to go to High Lagaard. That city contained one of the Yggdrasil Labyrinths. Just that instead of traveling into the labyrinth and going down… The maze pointed upward.
I wasn't nervous like Flavia was. She was a doofus. I thought I could get that quest done in a week, and that was at most.
I guess that I didn't know what I would have to digest after that day was over. I didn't know that I would suffer like I did. The truth is… I didn't know I'd make a good impact.
Author's Note: I swear. This'll get way better. I think. I only wrote it in first person for the intro. The rest should be in third person. I can't make any promises. Anyway… I hope you enjoy the main character gender swaps! I know I will. I'm also going to alter the story a bit because this is me kind ranting, but not ranting. (And I drew the picture for once! Yay!)
