Happy Birthday Anna

This is a special birthday present from me to Anna on her special day.

I own nothing, just the idea of this story. I wrote it strictly for Anna to enjoy on her birthday.

Don pulled Jess down the sidewalk as he walked fast. Jess was having trouble trying to keep up with him. "Don, what's the hurry? You're walking way to fast and I almost fell back there." She told him.

He stopped and let her rest for a second. He looked her over to make sure that she was okay. "I'm in a hurry because we're expected at a party and we're already late." He said as he started walking again, pulling her with him.

Jess was still confused and noticed that he seemed almost obsessed to get to this party. "But we've shown up at parties late before and you never complained. Why is this one so important?"

"Because this is a surprise party and we're the surprise. You see a few friends got together and wanted to throw a surprise birthday party for a friend of theirs, and what they really wanted for her birthday was to have you and I be her surprise." He explained as they rounded the corner.

"Yeah right, she'd want 'us' for her birthday. Most likely it's you that she wants for her birthday, I'm just going to be there so you stay out of trouble." She said.

Don looked at her and grinned. "No seriously, they asked for both of us."

Still unsure that she was wanted, she kept up with him. "Did we get her a gift?" She asked.

"I was told that we were the gift. I'm not sure what that means, or even if I should be worried or not. But, I thought what the heck, at least we're in this together." He explained to her.

They finally arrived at the party and Don knocked on the door. Once the door opened, they saw a bunch of people with smiles on their faces. "Welcome Detectives Flack and Angell, we're so glad that you could be here." Trisha said as she ushered them in.

Don glanced at Jess and they walked in hand in hand. "So, has the birthday girl already shown up?" Jess asked.

"No, but she should be here soon. I'd like to introduce you to a couple of friends of mine. They're in on the surprise with me. This is Cassie (AKA Lacy), and this is Sarah. The three of us thought you'd both be a great birthday present for our friend Anna." Trisha explained to them.

"Just what is it that we're supposed to do as her gift?" Don asked nervously.

"Not much, just whatever Anna wants you to do. She gets to have you do whatever she wants you to do for the whole twenty four hours of her birthday." Cassie said.

"But don't worry, she'll keep it teen rated, we promise." Sarah told them.

Don looked at Jess and they silently communicated with each other. "Okay, we'll do it, but only this one time." Don said.

Trisha, Cassie, and Sarah smiled. "Great, she should be here anytime now, so let's get ready." Trisha said.

Everyone got hidden just in time, cause Anna walked in just after the lights went out. "Hey, where is everyone? I thought that we were going to have a birthday party." She said.

"SURPRISE!!!!!!" Everyone jumped out and said as the lights came back on.

Anna saw all of her friends and was happy, but as soon as she saw Don and Jess, she squealed. She couldn't believe her eyes, her two favorite detectives were right in front of her.

"Happy birthday Anna. You can have Don and Jess for twenty four hours, to do as you please, as long as you keep it teen rated. We hope that you have a great birthday." Trisha told her.

They all partied late into the night, and the next day Anna got to do whatever she wished with Don and Jess.
