"Dang, this party is a lot of work, Cece. " I groaned, carrying a large chair. 'Are you sure we all couldn't go to Crusty's or something?"
Cece had dragged me into another crazy idea. We were at this nice hotel and carrying chairs up and down stairs for our New Year's Eve party. ''Yes, I'm sure. And everyone wanted to be inside. Gosh, Rocky, slack it up!'' Cece said. She put down the last chair and smiled. I looked around. Purple, silver, pink, and black streamers filled the room. The zebra printed chairs gave the room a funky feel. And the pizzas smelled so delicious. ''I must admit, the room looks...'' I said impressed. Cece smirked .'' Funky, new, alive, fun?'' I shook my head. "No, amazingly good. I'm impressed Cecelia."
Cece smiled. "thanks, Raquel.''
Cece POV
Three hours later
"Wow, Cece. You look gorgeous.'' I heard someone say. "Thanks,... Gunther!?" He smiled. I'll admit it he's kinda cute but Rocky's dating him. "OMG, there are two minutes till midnight. Round up your lovers and get ready for a new year!" I said into a microphone. Ty and Tinka went in front of the fireplace. Rocky and Gunther found a spot on the dance floor where a thousand years by Christina Perri was playing. That left me and Deuce. "3, 2,..." As the crowd screamed one, Deuce leaned forward and kissed me. " Happy New Year." I smiled and kissed him once more before going to the dance floor to jam out to Raise Your Glass by Pink.
