Hey guys! I'm so excited because this is my first story! It will only be a one shot though. Please review once you get done! Compliments, constructive criticism, or whatever you want to tell me about the story is welcome!

Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own Twilight or any of its characters. If I did I would not be posting these pointless stories on FanFiction. I would be out there making a lot of money and writing a book :D

My freshly straightened hair whipped around my face, filling it with the scent of fresh strawberries. Renesmee was sitting in front of me, giggling happily and playing with the brilliant stallion's mane. Edward sat on top of his own steed, truly looking like a king and a kind of love that only a parent could ever know shown in his eyes as he looked down at Renesmee.

He beamed, looking gently at me, and said, "See. I told you we should go on a vacation."

"You were right. This is very relaxing," I admitted.

"Mommy, look! A creek!" Renesmee interrupted. "Oh, can we please stop and play, Daddy? Please, please?"

She looked at Edward questioningly and he nodded yes.

"Yipee! I get to go play in the water!" Renesmee chanted joyfully.

We led the horses over to a tall tree and tied them up. Renesmee jumped down excitedly and ran towards the gurgling brook. Edward pulled a blanket out of his backpack and gently placed it under the shade.

"After you, my love," he said sweetly.

We both sat down and watched our little girl splashing and wading through the water.

"You know, my love, I think this would be a perfect place to set up camp," Edward said to me with a mischievous glint in his eye.

"I agree. There is plenty of shade and the sound of the creek is very calming."

"I also find it very romantic," he said.

"And why is that?" I asked.

"Well, because it reminds me of our meadow. The big trees, bright flowers, the soft grass…"

I grabbed his shirt, pulling him towards me, and cut him off with a kiss before he could finish. After a few seconds I pulled away, dizzy and lightheaded but I still lingered dangerously close to his flawless face.

"You're right," I whispered against his lips. "It's perfect."
