And that you'd never let me down.
You swore what we had we'd share,
And that we'd never, ever frown.
All the time I saw and loved you,
You never broke that oath.
We'd sometimes fight then start anew;
Nothing could part us both.
It reached the stage where I'd tell you "No",
But still you remained by my side.

All it did was double the disgust I feel inside.
