This came to me during a study hall as I sat there staring at the pictures with no homework and one of them involved fog and a cat. So I immediately thought, 'Graveyard'. Don't ask why, I just did. So I imagined YnM couples comforting each other in a graveyard! Then as I read it over, made improvements, and what-not I realized that this poem could work for just about every YnM couple imagined! Note: Nyx, Erebus, and Chaos are part of Greek and Roman mythology. Nyx represents night and Erebus represents darkness. It's said that Nyx and Erebus rose from Chaos and that one god or another(as there are many different versions of the story) also rose from Chaos and created the world.

Disclaimer: I, in no way, own Yami no Matsuei. Simply the poem, which can be used even to couples in real life.

Graveyard

The fog rolls in like water

It's black depths resembling Nyx

Coming forth from Chaos

Amethyst covers everything around Us

The color deep and rich

Bathing the moon dark with it's blood

Erebus hides the stars on this night

Abandoning Us the hope of merely a glimpse of that which We cannot have

But We do not mind

We have each other

On nights like this

And days of another

That's how I see it, anyway

I see everything in light

Death-like mist creeps up the cobblestones

Swallowing everything in a comfortable nothingness

Nyx, the night, a part of Chaos

The sky breathes a purple hue

Reminding me strongly of the blood that once flew through my veins thickly

The moon is at it's peak tonight

The sky around it giving the ethereal orb a crimson appearance

I do not mind that Erebus has stolen the stars

In fact, I'm grateful

The moon shines at it's brightest when alone

Unlike Us

We are Descendents of Darkness

On nights like this

And days of another

That's how I see it anyway

I see everything in darkness
