The Day After
Reid rolled over in his bed and groaned. Why had he let Morgan talk him into that? His body was so sore, especially his ass and his upper legs. He thought about the prospect of getting out of bed and groaned again.
Reid glanced at his alarm clock, 8:00 am, he was glad he had taken Morgan's advice to take a shower the night before so he could sleep in a little bit more this morning. He was more of a nighttime shower person anyway.
As Reid sat up he took better inventory of his aching muscles. He placed his feet gingerly on the floor and tried to stand. His legs didn't seem to want to work properly. Silently cursing everything from work to Derek Morgan to his own eager stupidity Reid pushed himself off his bed into a standing position.
Reid got dressed quickly or as quickly as he could in his current condition. His pants gave him a little bit of trouble, but once he was dressed and ready he grabbed his bag and headed out the door to catch the metro.
Derek Morgan smirked as Reid walked out of the elevator into the offices of the BAU. He noticed the other Agent was walking kind of funny, a little bow legged, and how the other Agent gingerly sat down in his desk chair.
The stairs Reid had had to go down to get out of his apartment he been a problem, but he had over come them with minimal whimpers and a firm grip on the hand rail. All he wanted to do now was have a quiet day at his desk with all his paperwork.
Reid was halfway through his first file when he noticed the last person he wanted to see right now looming over his desk.
"How are you feeling after last night Pretty Boy?" Morgan said loud enough to get Emily, JJ, and Garcia, who were all gathered looking at something on Emily's computer, to look up.
"Derek Morgan," he looked up wanting to throw something but in too much pain to move. "I am never spending three and a half hours at the gym with you ever again!"
