Author note: Well, I haven't wrote a Moon Child fic in what seems like forever so, I just had to do one. And yea, it's rated M for a reason. On a side note, I spelled liar wrong thorough out this whole thing.

Disclaimer: Don't own them nor do I know them. This is just for fun and is purely fan made.

Liar

The moment innocent blue-gray eyes smiled at him without a trace of fear or disgust, Kei knew he was going to protect this precious child for as long as the child needed him. And Kei swore to himself that he wouldn't get to attached to the child, would only love the child with a cold fondness.

But, Kei was a liar. He grew attached to the child and loved the child like the child was his own. It was then Kei changed his oath. He would let the child go when the child no longer needed him and no matter how tempting it was, he would never feed from his child.

One again, Kei was a liar. The child would always need him but, the child was no longer a child any more. The child was a teen and Kei could already feel his feelings for the chil---no, teen changing. He was lusting after that which he should and would never touch. And so, once more his oath changed. Not only would he never feed from the teen but, he would never touch his teen as a lover.

A liar, that's all Kei was. He broke his oath. He took the teen who was now a man. He took that innocence which should never had been Kei's to take. He took it and loved it. He loved the way blue-gray eyes darkened to a lusty sapphire, loved the way that slender body arched into his own and he loved the way his name fell like a prayer from plump lips. That day, he almost gave in and drank from the man who he was still embraced within.

That day, the day he took away his sweet, sweet man's innocence, Kei made another oath. One he knew he wasn't going to break. Not only would he never drink from the man but, he would never turn him into the monster Kei himself is. And, in order to keep his oath, Kei left. He left the child he loved, the teen he lusted for and the man who owned his tainted soul.

Not more than a blink of an eye for Kei and the man calling him back and like a fool, Kei went back. That night, as the man's wife lay dying, Kei took the man again. It was full of longing, regret and sorrow but, Kei didn't care. He had the man back in his arms.

It changed though. Not even a day latter, he held the man in his arms again and this time, it wasn't out of love and accompanied by sweet caresses. He held the man as he died and that was when Kei broke the last of his oaths.

He drank form him, turned him. And as he drank form him, he could see his child, his sweet Sho grow before his eyes and even though his Sho's blood was like fine wine on his tongue, Kei hated himself for this.

Kei was a liar and as he faced the sunrise and tackled the immortal Sho down to hide from the sun's warmth, Kei knew he would never stop lying.
