She stops short of saying his name; putting both together in the same sentence already sounds... too close. She can't allow herself to think in those terms, for the sake of her sanity.
Her grip on the ship's controls loosens ever so slightly as her mind unwillingly flashed through a particularly sensitive memory; angry at herself, she crisps her fingers around the throttle a little too hard, and the Ragnarok was quick to lower its' nose for a fraction of a second before she recovered her inner balance. ' Grrr', she growls in her head.
' Sefie?'
It gets increasingly hard to act casual after he calls her name. She wishes it was as simple to pronounce his name, without immediately feeling this knot in her throat. She was sure she would never get to use 'we' instead of 'and'.
