It had been over for nearly four months… Sin was dead for good and Spira finally had its eternal calm. It should've felt better than it did but at what price? Sure Auron finally was at peace in his death as well as Jecht. But Tidus has been missing and no one is sure Yuna's heart can bear the pain of having her first love missing like that. Lulu was still pushing herself through the void Chappu once had filled; and Rikku had a home to rebuild. Kimahri was rebuilding the Ronso village from scratch with the few remaining adults and the many children. Then there's Wakka… To be honest he had been hoping for death during this pilgrimage… it's the only way he'd be able to join her in an honorable manner and the void and feeling of betrayal wouldn't exist.

"How long has he been standing up there?" The gentle voice of Yuna made Lulu jump slightly. Lulu's gaze turned to her then back to the cliff on which Wakka was sitting.

"Too long…" That was the simple reply. "It's sad really. When I lost Chappu I thought I had felt the worst pain ever… but to be so young and have the elders of the city condemn your one true love to death…" She shook her head.

"Seers at the time were thought to be Sinspawn by the elders of all villages." Yuna sighed softly remembering that night clearly. "Only the elders and high priests who have been around for some time thought…"

"I know…" Lulu said.

"It was only the elders who had problems with it and then eventually poisoned others. But now that Sin is gone Seers are still popping up."

"That's probably what hurts the most. The very ones who taught Wakka to trust, love, and to cherish every little thing proved to contradict themselves. It must hurt to have every single one of your beliefs crushed and proven to be all lies." Lulu cradled one of her dolls in her grasp watching Wakka stand and pay his respects before walking down to the two females.

"Don't look at me like that, ya? I'll be alright." He ran his fingers through his red hair.

"Right… Well the children have been waiting for their Blitz Ball instructor down by the beach." Yuna said softly. Wakka nodded.

"I know…" He said smiling softly before running off.

"Poke a stick with it, Wintz!" One of the little girls told a dorky, but built, looking kid with goggles in place of his glasses.

"I'm not poking it with a stick." He put his goggles on to inspect the white crystal.

"Then let me take a crack at it!!" Another kid yelled and began pelting the thing with rocks.

"What do you all think you're doing?!?!" The voice of their instructor made the murmurs stop, but the kid pelting it with rocks continued.

"Blane cut it out!" Wakka picked up the brown haired boy by his shirt, but dropped him when he caught sight of the jewel. "What is that?" He touched it as it seemed to glow and a dark silhouette of a person's form inside made him stare hard at it.

"Hey! Get away from the preserver!!!" Two different voices yelled.

"They're cute!!" The girls swooned.

"No, way…"
