Prologue: The Nightmare of a Sunday Night
With his short, snow-like hair and his eyes, like sea at the day's twilight, so green and blue at the same time, teal emeralds that she always loved and will love, shining brightly at the sun's glowing light, he just stands there… looking forward.
Behind him comes a long strawberry blonde wave of hair, flowing with the wind, freely, while she runs towards the boy standing there on the edge of the bridge about to jump.
A desperate but loud "wait!" is heard, breaking the silence, the eerie silence that surrounded both of them, the boy, at the edge, and the girl, running and panting; "don't...please don't..."she said before falling to her knees with her cheeks wet by the still falling tears that flowed like a river, with her sobs and her trembling lips, trying to utter coherent words, as cold as ice, teal orbs turned to look at her own gray-ish blue ones, at first hard but then softened, looking with concern.
"Gomen demo... I- I have to" he said grabbing her hands, holding them, squeezing slightly. "But... you can't do...this!" she said sobbing with dried tears on her beautiful pale face "just... don't do that!" she cried, launching herself into his arms.
He whispered "sorry..." and then he released himself of her weak grasp and, in a sudden, she was just there sitting on the floor. After that he said "Ja ne, hope we meet again..."and with that he jumped the bridge's edge, launching himself to the river beneath it, she wanted to reach him but everything seemed to be happening in slow-motion.
She, trying to move towards him, he, letting himself fall and then...
"STOP! PLEASE STOP!"
