ABAKI.
Once off. Abaki is a yu-gi-oh card that my friend (LacrymosaRules) and I find really creepy so I thought, "Why not make a short story about Abaki murdering people."So enjoy the story and I hope you don't get too creeped out. Also in this story I am telling the tale (well, my version of it) of how Kaiba and Mokuba became orphans.
Darkness fell on The Kaiba Mansion as Mrs. Kaiba tucked her precious little son, Seto Kaiba, into bed.
"Night, night, Seto, sleep tight." She said as she kissed her six year-old son, gently on the forehead.
She stood up off of the bed and walked over to the light switch.
"Mom, wait!" croaked a soft voice, hidden under layers of thick blankets.
"What is it Seto?" the mother said, with a hint of annoyance in her tone.
"It'll come for me!" Seto said, kicking the blankets away from his face, after much struggle (and no assistance from his mother) he managed to sit up straight in his bed and stare, frightened, at his mother.
"Seto, no more nonsense, I must go and check up on Mokuba." Said Mrs. Kaiba, referring to her two month old son, who lay sleeping downstairs.
"Mom, please! He comes for me in the night, he calls himself, Abaki." Said Seto as he leapt off of the bed and landed in his mother's arms.
"He's here! He's coming up the stairs!" screamed Seto as he dug his nails inside his mother's cheeks, drawing blood.
Mrs. Kaiba, who had had just about enough of her son, was getting ready to leave her whimpering son on his bed and walk downstairs was suddenly struck dumb when she saw the silhouette of a horned beast appear in the doorstep.
"Wwwho's there?" she stuttered as she tripped and fell backwards onto the floor, staining the carpets with her blood.
The creature revealed itself to be a blood red beast with yellow eyes and a grey bludgeon with metal spikes (A/N; Sorry if I got its description, colors wrong, I have a lot of trouble distinguishing certain colors.) A low growl escaped from its throat as it swung its bludgeon down on Seto's bed, as it was doing so, it roared, "ABAKI!"
Seto dodged the attack by bouncing off of his bed and landing on the ground, beside his mother.
"Mom, come on, we've got to move before Abaki attacks us again." Seto yelled as he violently started to shake his mother, who have gone into a state of shock, had fainted.
"ABAKI!" the creature roared as he angrily brought down the spiked bludgeon onto Mrs. Kaiba's head. She was instantly killed as blood splattered all over the walls and onto Seto's bed.
Seto, took the opportunity to run out of the door (while Abaki was distracted) and run downstairs.
"Dad!" he yelled, as he tumbled down the last few steps, he had tripped on his blood stained foot halfway up the stairs.
Seto looked up and saw a sight that would never leave him, no matter how long he lived. The walls were covered with blood, Seto's father, who had normally sat down next to the fire and read his paper, was lying on the floor in a puddle of his own blood, his head lying a few metres away from his body.
Seto, hearing the cries of his younger brother, went to the family safe, typed in the code and took out as much money as could fit into a brown sack, which he had found nearby.
After taking the money (which he would later discover was $20,000) he ran to his brothers room, secured his brother into his pram, and escaped out the front door.
Seto, who is now 19, will always remember that day, he is constantly on the look out for the murderer of his family, the infamous Abaki.
