"Make the clan proud, make me proud."
"Hai, otou-sama."
At the age of eight, Yukimura Fuyuko, heiress of the infamous Yukimura clan that hails from Yukigakure, was about to graduate and become a genin. She was always showered with compliments because of her intelligence and potential to become a great kunoichi. (That, and the village is really desperate for more ninja.)
Despite these, her father, the head of the clan Yukio, thinks otherwise.
"There are so many things she haven't learned yet." He said in a firm tone, making the others think that it might be impossible to budge the clan head at all.
"She will get to know of those things you're saying when she becomes genin." One of them tried to convince.
"No. She will not graduate early, that is final."
"You do know that your daughter should be the one who's getting the final say, right?" one asked with a tone the clan head couldn't comprehend, yet still feel annoyed by how it sounded.
The clan's head and its elder members were in a room, while Fuyuko was waiting outside in a seiza position. As she sat, her head's down and tendrils of her hair were falling down from its loose low ponytail. Her hands were in her lap, clenching and then releasing and then repeating it all again.
"Fuyuko, enter."
The girl obliged and entered the room with the supposed grace, earning approving looks from several people of the room.
"Hai, otou-sama?" she asked softly and gently.
"Do you want to graduate early? Or do you want to continue studying?"
Yukio went straight to the point, as expected. What they didn't expect, was how Fuyuko was so quick to answer.
"No, otou-sama. I still want to continue my studying, if that is fine."
"See? Even she thinks the same." Yukio looked around, daring anyone to oppose as now the one who had the final say has finally said it.
"Very well," a several few of them sighed.
"One more thing," Yukio spoke before the meeting could be adjourned. "I'm planning to move Fuyuko to Konoha for a better education."
Hellooooooooooooooo! This is another fanfic that I possibly won't finish for a long time because I'm horrible just like that... yeah.
ANYWAY, I haven't started Naruto (Shippuden) at all. So yeah, prepare for mistakes and some scenes/dialogues changes because yeah I'm horrible just like that. I watched the show when it's near to an end, and only got ideas about Part I and II from reading character profiles (and fanfiction) and watching some episodes with my mom (I didn't watch it chronologically, I blame my mother, she likes to skip when she's not liking the episode). So I'm sorry if there's mistakes and errors.
