He had did it again.

He had broke down in the worse ways possible. In any shape or form, but this time, he didn't care who sees. It just hurts. In reality, though, he shouldn't be beating himself up like this. He knew it was coming soon, and if it didn't, what the hell was he suppose to say? "Don't kill me or hate me, but I love you?" Yeah, that sounds smart. Smart enough to get him killed, maybe, but not smart enough for him to realize what he means.

But...it was true. Over the years, he'd been in love with his best friend, and surprisingly, there were days where he had showed it. Sure, he might have said the words 'babe' and 'sweet cheeks' at the end of each sentence, but that don't really count unless you have more proof to back it up. In fact, almost every night, when he falls into a deep sleep, he plants a kiss on his cheek. Of course, that leads him to mumble and flatten his best friend. He didn't mind though, as long as he those smiles on his face.

Which had become rare now....

Funny, back in the Sandovers, when he was still young and innocent, before darkness tainted his soul, his smiles were a drug to him. He couldn't last one single day without him smiling and for that reason, he was painfully aware that he was starting to fall for his best friend. His only friend.....

It didn't matter now, he's happy, so he should be too, right? It means a world to him. His happiness, I mean. He deserves to be happy, even if the person he's happy with was not him.

It just hurts.

He spent most of his life with him, spent two years in that damn torture cell looking for him and this is how he repays him?! Who was the sick bastard who thought this through?! Just because he was an animal once, doesn't mean he should be treated as such! He's still human damn it!

Dax frowned. No, he couldn't complain about this. Not this time. Jak's happy and that's all he cares about. Jak deserves happiness. He couldn't risk losing his best friend over something he stupidly did.

No matter how much it kills him.

And, it wasn't like something was going to happen anyways. Though human, Jak would never go after him. The sidekick. The use to be soft, orange and fluffy sidekick.

To him, that was just plain stupid.

But he couldn't resist telling him. At least he'll know how he feels about him after so many years. Why do you even bother? His heart is with the girl. He thoughts snarled at him, almost teasing him.

.....And that's what hurts the most.

Just as he open the door, he heard Jak's voice.

"I love you too, Keira."

......He cries.
