"Chronos, wake up."

A burning sensation

"Chronos."

A fallen master, cards scattered all over the floor

"I said WAKE UP!" A slap follows, fully waking the dozing spirit.

Chronos rubbed his eyes and yawned loudly. It took a few seconds to register that he wasn't alone. Bleary eyes blinked up at the other spirit that woke him. "What do you want, Astro-nii?"

Astro huffed in annoyance and took a seat next to Chronos. "You were groaning in your sleep. That dream again?" He fiddled with a strand of his blomde hair, inspecting it.

"Yes. I worry about its meaning." Chronos sighed and leaned back to stare at the endless sky. "Our Master will be safe, right?"

The other spirit stared at him. "Of course. Have you no faith in him?" Astro rested a hand on his bent knee and snorted.

"O-of course I do! It's just that..." Chronos waved his hands, embarassed. He sighed and flopped on his back, his arms making a makeshift pillow.

A few sprites floated past and both magicians watched them silently. "Say, aniki...?"

"Hm?"

Chronos didn't immediately respond and for a moment, Astro thought his Pendulum kin had fallen asleep again. Shifting his weight, Astro glanced over, and sure enough, Chronos was snoring softly again. Sighing, the Stargazer stood up and unfastened his cloak. He carefully draped it over his friend and smiled. "Idiot."
