"Hey, Gilbert." called Germany as he walked out of the meeting room with his older brother.
"Yeah?" The red-eyed nation seemed bored as he looked up at the ceiling.
"Why is it that you seem to remember who…um…?" Ludwig struggled for that certain nation's name…
"Matthew." Gilbert offered. Germany nodded.
"Yeah, how do you remember him?" he asked. Prussia grinned and stuffed his hands into his pockets.
"Well, I have to remember him, West." He answered.
"Why?" Germany wasn't sure if he wanted to hear the explanation, but Prussia just gave it to him anyway, as always.
"Because if I'm nice to Matt and never forget him, when he snaps I'm free to go."
"What?" Not only was Germany confused, but he was also a bit disturbed. Prussia draped his arm onto his brother's shoulders.
"Let me explain this to you so that you're not confused by my awesome brain." Ludwig let out an annoyed sigh as Gilbert continued, "Everyone forgets pancake boy, but when they don't they mistake him for his bastard brother. Now, when everyone's doing that I'll be nice to him and actually fuckin' remember him because one day all of those shitty feelings of being forgotten will finally go to his head, he'll come to a meeting packing heat, and by heat I mean AK-47s and P-90s. He'll blast some heads off and probably cut off some of their limbs, but when he gets to me he'll say, 'You're so awesome for remembering me, I won't kill you' and I can go on my merry way!"
Gilbert paid no mind to the horrified look on Ludwig's face.
"Okay…I'm going to leave now." Ludwig started towards the opposite direction.
"Where ya goin'?" asked Gilbert.
"I'm going to go find Canada." He replied.
"Hey you remembered his name!" Prussia's face broke into a grin at his brother's accomplishment.
"I think I'll be needing to remember it from now on..." Germany muttered. He set off to go find the forgotten nation.
