Disclaimer: I own nothing. Chapter One: The Strange Boy
Gumi stared out the window of the white mansion in which she resided. She never left and found her life to be boring. She only had one real friend: her younger sister, Rin, and she wasn't even sure if that counted. Being the little rich kid, she had a tutor and all of her necessities brought to her home, ridding any reason for her to leave her home. Some days, she wished that she hadn't been cursed with such a posh lifestyle.
"Hey, Gumi!" Rin's voice echoed throughout the large house, "Mrs. Wilson is here."
The green-haired girl only let out a sigh; she didn't feel like having a piano lesson today.
The door of the fifteen-year-old's bedroom creaked open and Rin popped her head inside, "Hey, Gumi—"
Gumi cut her sister's sentence off by letting out an exasperated groan, "I don't want to have a piano lesson today."
Rin frowned: Gumi could be such a drama queen sometimes.
"Why?" The small blonde squeaked in reply.
"I don't feel like it. Just tell Mom that I don't feel good and to just send Mrs. Wilson home."
"Are you sure, Gumi?"
The older girl could only nod eagerly, "Thanks, Rin."
"You're welcome," The blonde replied as she left her sister's bedroom.
Gumi returned to staring out the window. Life outside of the white-bricked walls had to be so much more fun than inside the stuffy mansion. For weeks she had thought of escaping the place for a while, but something inside of her was holding her back. Today would be the day, she thought to herself. She would finally get the courage. Hah! If only…
"Hey! You!"
What? Who was this blond boy outside in the mansion's garden? An even better question: How did he get through security?
The boy looked a lot like her younger sister, but with longer hair that was pulled back into a short ponytail—quite odd, if you were to ask her. He had an old brown shirt on with a dusty black vest on top. His orange tie hung loosely around his neck and reached the top hem of his black pants with orange pockets. His brown boots that reached just above his ankles looked worn out and she couldn't help but think that they could have been traded out for new ones months ago.
"Yeah, you! Looking out the window!"
Gumi looked down at the boy, starting to open her mouth to question the strange boy, but he interrupted her, "Aren't you bored up there?"
"I don't think that's for you to decide," She replied in a voice she thought sounded quite sophisticated.
"You're bored; I can tell," He smirked up to her, "Come down, I'll show you a good time."
"Do you think I'm stupid?"
"No, but, I know you want to have good time."
The green-haired girl scowled, "I suggest you leave before I call security on you."
It was weird: just moments ago, she was hoping to escape her home for a while, but now that her savior had come, she was refusing to go with him. She couldn't trust him, though! He was some stranger off of the streets!
"Don't be that way, Sugar; I'm just trying to help you."
Sugar? Who the hell did he think he was talking to? And was he flirting with her? What a freaking pervert!
"Hey, kid, what do you think you're doing?"
Gumi let out a sigh of relief as she watched one of the big, strong security guards running towards the strange boy. Finally! She slipped off of the seat of the bay window and walked towards her bed; she laid back softly, drifting off for a nap.
I hope you liked it. :) The boy of course was Len. XD Thanks for reading! Reviews keep me motivated. ;)
