Written for the How Many Do You Ship? Challenge (Scorose) and the Ultimate Patronus Quest (weasel: write about Rose Weasley)

Rose groans when she feels Scorpius rest his chin against her shoulder. She silently counts to ten, but he doesn't move. "Come on, Scor," she sighs, pulling away and turning to face him. "I have to get this report done tonight."

"I thought you were done bringing work home," he says, and she wonder how such a gentle tone can be so laced with subtle accusation.

Rose frowns. It's a promise she's made countless times. Work ends at work. Home begins at home. But it's also a promise she's broken countless times. Her father says that it's proof that she's her mother made over.

"I'm nearly done," she offers sheepishly with a small smile.

He presses a kiss to her neck. Rose bites back a groan. It isn't fair. He shouldn't be so distracting. And yet he is, and she resents him a little bit for it.

"You're playing dirty," she accuses, setting her quill to the side.

"Slytherin," he reminds her with a laugh. "I know how to get my way."

"Well, you've always been a rubbish Slytherin," she mumbles.

Scorpius laughs softly, his breath tickling her neck. Rose has to remind herself to breathe.

"True," he agrees. "But I so rarely want anything the way I want you."

"I'll take just another hour or two," she insists, but she knows there's no hope of returning to her report now.

His lips move along her jaw, feather light. Rose shivers. It's just another reminder of the unfairness. She ought to be focusing on her work for the Ministry, but her husband has a way to creep into her mind and cause her thoughts to blur.

"I can think of a much more exciting way to spend an hour," he teases.

"Not fair when you do that," she pouts. "You know the effect you have on me."

Scorpius laughs, and she hates the way the sound sends shivers up her spine. "I know. Possibly the only thing that can keep your mind off of work," he agrees, pushing a hand through her hair.

And the he pulls away, a smirk on his lips. "You should really finish that report," he says. "It looks awfully important. I don't know why you're wasting so much time. Tick tock, tick tock."

Rose stares at him, jaw dropping and eyes narrowing. "You bastard."

He smirks. "Come now. Time is wasting. What would the Ministry do without your wonderful pearls of wisdom on-" He peers at the parchment. "-mermaid poaching increasing?"

"You started it. And you just- You- How dare you tease me?" she demands.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Scorpius says innocently. "I'm not teasing you. I'm just giving you motivation to hurry up and finish your work."

And though she swears endlessly under her breath and spends more time glaring at her husband than at the parchment, Rose is surprised by how quickly she finishes and edits her report.
