Chapter 1

Alice had never liked Peter White, especially after he had kidnapped her and brought her to this crazy world. Right now, the last thing she wanted to see was him, but here she was, at the palace, drinking tea with Vivaldi. (Or at least trying to anyway. She had to keep prying peter off of her).

"Get off of me Peter!"

"But Alice, I love you!"

"Peter, that is enough! Do you fancy having your head on your neck?" Both Alice and Peter stopped squabbling. They both looked over at a furious Vivaldi, one who was glaring ferociously at Peter. "Alice, I think maybe you should go now, before Peter kills you with his affections for you."

Alice got up, thanked Vivaldi for the tea, and with one last glare at Peter that would scare the Devil himself, walked away.

She entered the maze in which she had already memorized and knew by heart, when she came across her good friends Elliot and Ace.

"Thanks Elliot, but I think I can find my way back to the palace from here", he said, and started off in the opposite direction of the palace.

"No you can't, you idiot!" Elliot exclaimed, grabbing on to the collar of his Jacket.

Alice smiled to herself: This was just too funny. Typical Ace, being his directionless self, had obviously walked to the mansion instead of going to the heartland castle, where he belonged.

"I hate to break it to both of you, but it appears to me that you two are both going in the wrong direction" Alice said, trying to stop them before Elliot tried to kill Ace. It had happened before. Elliot was actually a really innocent guy, he just had a short temper.

"Alice!" Ace exclaimed, breaking away from Elliots strong grip. "Why are you here?"

Alice told Ace and Elliot about her long boring day at the palace, and how most of it was just her trying to pry peter off of her.

"Wow, that sounds pretty awful" Ace said, earning himself a hard jab in the ribs from Elliot. "Shut the hell up you moron" he hissed in his ear. "Well Alice we have to go" Ace said in a lazy, happy go lucky tone. As Ace walked by, she smelled liquor on his jacket. 'Oh boy, he's drunk' Alice thought to herself before walking to the clock tower.

...

Upon entering the clock tower, she greeted Julius who merely huffed in response to her greeting. He was hunched over his work, focusing on the delicate object in his hands. She looked at the large amount of work he had, and knew he wouldn't stop until all of it was finished. She gently took his work from his hands, and placed it on the table in front of him. She then gently nudged him upstairs to his bedroom, and made sure he went to bed. She then changed into her own clothes, and got into bed.
