'Your soul is haunting me'
'Loving you forever can't be wrong, even though you're not here, won't move on'
'I can see him, I really can. He's there, his soul, a ghostly silhouette weaving his way into my future.
He never really left, not mentally. Whilst he fades, reluctantly in their minds, he's burns vividly in hers, sometimes so much she's reduced to tears. But recently, it's gotten worse, as she falls more deeply in love, she finds herself seeing Liam more and more, and she's beginning to wonder who's she really in love with.
She rolled onto her side, her eyes fluttering sleep away. Peter lies beside her, lost in his dreams, perfectly still, so handsome, so strong. He's what she's always wanted. But then why does she see Liam, and not him?
Her eyes scan his face, his expression mirrors that of Liam's. It's scary, is it for real? Or is she simply seeing what she's longed to see for so long. HIs lips curve upwards, and she remembers waking up for the first time beside Liam, their limbs intertwined; their passionate love making living on to the next morning.
And then Peter groans in his sleep as her precious thoughts are curtly interrupted, Liam's face fading into a stark bleakness. She sighs, and turns over, she loves Peter, with all her heart, but it's Liam her heart belongs to.
