Cloud was squirming in his bed, in his pajamas, covered in the sheets, and tears coming out of his eyes. After 5 minutes, he woke up and decided to walk towards Aeris' room. First he took a small peek in the room. Aeris was sound asleep with moon light shining through the window, while Cloud's room's window had been shaded by the curtains. Cloud walked slowly towards her, with tears in his eyes and started to sniffle.
Cloud: Aeris?
She didn't wake up yet, so Cloud tried again.
Cloud: Aeris?
Aeris slowly waken up with her emerald eyes looking towards the young child.
Aeris: Cloud? What's the matter?
Cloud: I had a bad dream. (Sniffle) Mind if I sleep with you?
Aeris held the corner of her blanket up. He understood and crawled underneath it. Almost immediately he snuggled against Aeris, getting comfortable while still crying.
Aeris: What did you dream about?
Cloud: Remember Zack?
Aeris: Yes.
Cloud: I remembered what happened to him.
Cloud started sobbing while burying his face on her shoulder. Aeris then put her arms around him and slowly rocked him back and fourth.
Aeris: I understand, Cloud. It has been months since the accident, but two months you moved on so well, it's a bit sad to see you grieving over his death again.
Cloud: Why did that car have to hit him?
Aeris: Because I saw and he was pushed you out of the way from that truck. So in a way, he was gave his life to you.
Cloud: That was nice for him to do that, but I wish I was paying more attention while I was walking with him.
Aeris gave Cloud some pats on the back to calm him down, and after a few minutes, he calmed down and slept next to her.
Aeris: Feeling better now?
Cloud: Yep, Night, Aeris.
He said quietly, kissed her cheek, and snuggled back into her embrace.
Aeris: Good night, Cloud.
Aeris bended her head down and kissed the top of his head before they laid on the pillows and snuggled deep into bed, with Cloud in her arms and the blankey drawn protectively around their bodies.
