Shenron's BIG mistake.
It was a clear day at the Lookout and Dende was doing his daily labours as the Earth guardian. Mr. Popo was spraying the plants and flowers and everything seemed completely normal…well, normal besides the point that it had been only 3 days since Goku left with Shenron.
Normally, one wouldn't think something out of the ordinary would happen after the events that happened not long ago, specially having Shenron's word for it... but hey, nothing is perfect in the world… not even the supreme beings.
It was in the middle of the day that Dende felt a very powerful ki. He was scared at first, but then he felt odd. Something told him it was Goku's ki the one that he felt, yet it was very strange because he saw the saiyan leave with the eternal dragon. Just to be sure, he contacted telepathically all the Z-gang members to gather at the Lookout in order to check out what was going on.
"All right, 't waste MY time and tell me what the hell is going on!!!" – yelled a very angry Vegeta. .. mainly because he was interrupted in the middle of a training session.
"Calm down everyone… specially you, sir. I summoned all of you today because I must confess you something: today I felt a very powerful ki coming this way. It's not a threat, as I didn't feel it evil, but still it's odd" – said Dende, while the Z-warriors widened their eyes and looked at each other.
Suddenly, several clouds covered the sky, darkening it and producing thunders that couldn't be mistaken: it was Shenron.
"What the hell? I thought the Dragon Balls didn't work anymore!!!" – exclaimed a surprised Bulma.
"I am certain of one thing: none of us here called him" – replied Dende.
They didn't finish the talk when the giant dragon appeared up in the sky with Goku on it's back.
"THAT'S IT!! I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! TAKE THIS GUY WITH YOU!" – and saying that, Shenron dropped the little saiyan on the floor… still fast asleep.
"Wow… I didn't see that one coming" – answered a surprised Gohan
"You tell ME about that! This mere mortal was so idiot and so annoying during the time I spent with him that even I, an immortal perfect being grew tired of him!"
Vegeta couldn't help but grin hearing the words of the eternal dragon. There was finally someone who understood how much of an idiot Kakarot was…well, besides him and 18 of course.
"Oh mighty Shenron" – said Pan – "would you still grant us one last wish? I know grandpa can be annoying and sometimes idiot and since we could barely stand him in his adult form…could you please return him to that state? Pretty please?"
"It is done. Farewell and don't bother me again for 100 years…SPECIALLY THIS ONE!" (pointing to Goku) – "I will now return to my slumber".
The dragon disappeared, the sky cleared and everyone was left perplexed. From one moment to another, Goku was back with them and in his adult form (which was still asleep).
"I wonder what did my dad do that made Shenron that much angry" – asked Goten looking to the sky.
Everyone laughed at Goten's naïve question.
"You're just like your father, brat" – said Vegeta… after having the laugh of his life.
"Do I have to take it as a compliment?" – asked Goten curiously
Everyone laughed again even harder and after some laughing time and catching up on the updates, each one returned to their respective homes…except Dende of course, which he was on his home on the first place.
