Skeptic
Cara had been skeptical at first, it was just who she was, but Kahlan has a hold over her and she never can say no. So, when the Mother Confessor caught Cara cuddled up on their bed with the kitten she convinced Cara to let her keep, she was surprised.
Love
Cara never believed herself capable of having such strong feelings for someone, let alone her sworn enemy. Which is why, as she watches Kahlan sleep in the darkness, their only light a blazing fire, she still can't bring herself to confess her love.
Family
Cara wheezed as she was tackled to the ground by two little girls, "Momma! you're finally home!" She smiled, and brushed blonde hair from her face as her oldest daughter leaned over her, "I promised I'd be back by this weekend. Besides, your mother would kill me if I was late."
Dark
Cara understood her like no one ever would, she loved and embraced every part of her, even the dark thoughts and moments of weakness she has sometimes. Richard would never understand her urges, and the thoughts that sometimes run through her mind, which is why she loved the blonde so much, and always would.
Wet
"You've lost your mind, Confessor," Cara grumbled, as she watched Kahlan dance in the rain outside. "Sometimes I don't lose it, sometimes I give it away willingly," Kahlan laughed.
Life
"Life can kiss my ass," Cara hissed, downing another shot with ease. "Life took her away," she finished, cursing the tear that fell from her left eye.
Sand
"You ok, Kahlan?' Richard asked, noticing how oddly she walked. "Fine," she smiled, "No more sex on the beach, I have sand in places sand should not be," she hissed in Cara's ear, earning a smirk.
