The Legend of Maricraft - The Maiden and The Dark King
Long ago there was a fare maiden, named Mari, who came across a magical land which she named Buttparty, but the land was filled with dark creatures and she struggled in it's wilderness until she came across a young man named Lasercorn, who helped her fend off the darkness. Soon more people came to settle in Buttparty and Mari and Lasercorn built many mines, gathered resources and built a safe haven for them to live with large tank of water that past through two of the floors, and Buttparty flourished but Lasercorn was not satisfied. One day Mari became lost in woods and Lasercorn went to save her, fending of the dark creatures along the way before finding her, but they were unaware that darkness had came over Lasercorn from all the monsters he had slane, and as Mari made her way home Lasercorn came across a local town of settlers and he killed them all, renaming the town "Lasercornia" and declared himself King. Mari disagreed with his actions, and when she confronted Lasercorn attacked her and declared war. Mari seeked help in a local mercenary named Wes, who built a large tower in which to watch out for their deadly nemesis, but Lasercorn trapped him in one of the mines and killed him. The war raged on for years, each using devious more after the other, with Lasercorn flooding Mari's home and sealing her in a mine shaft, and Mari tricking Lasercorn into letting her out with the promise of diamonds. Until one day Mari found Jovenshire, The King of Diamonds, in his castle who wished to remain out of their war until Lasercorn attacked him in an attempt to take his castle as his own, luckily Jovenshire was more stronger than Lasercorn and he chased him off to hide in his secret fort. Never the less Lasercorn burned down Mari's house, and as a result Mari and Jovenshire formed an alliance and destroyed Lasercorn's fort. Mari then, wanted to stop their petty feud, destroyed what was left of her house as a sign of friendship leaving only a pillar of water behind. Lasercorn, touched by this, realized the error of his ways and killed himself by jumping off Jovenshire's castle so that he could not hurt anyone ever again. And thus peace returned to the land and Mari and Jovenshire renamed the land "Maricraft."
