This is most definitely an AU fic. Not canon at all. It features a bit of femslash.

I don't own Harry Potter; that privilege goes to the amazing J. K. Rowling.

Hermione glanced around at the Weasleys. They were all having a good time. Fred and George were playing Exploding. Snap, Harry and Ron were having a duel of Wizard Chess, Ginny was helping Mrs. Weasley in the kitchen, Mr. Weasley was speaking to an absent-minded Percy about some Muggle batteries he saw and Bill and Fleur were reading by the fire. None of them seemed to remember that this was a very special day for her; after all, she was an adult now. She was now seventeen and none of them took notice.

Sighing to herself, Hermione stole upstairs to the room she shared with Ginny and grabbed a book to read. Not bothering to let anyone know where she was going, the brunette witch crept outside and sat just inside the border of the wards, leaning against a shrub and beginning to read.

A black pair of cunning eyes surveyed her from the very shrub she leaned against and before Hermione could say anything, a hand grabbed her and pulled her out of the wards, taking her by side-along apparation. Coming out of the suffocating darkness, Hermione glanced around as another loud crack sounded.

Looking down, the young witch saw a path of roses leading along the sidewalk. Moving cautiously, the brunette followed the roses all the way to a large iron gate; the iron structure slid open for her and Hermione continued following the path.

Just before the steps leading into the large mansion, was a cluster of rose petals spelling out her first and last name.

Hermione climbed the stairs and entered the mansion cautiously, checking for any curses that might harm her. Finding none, she continued along, lighting her wand so she could see. More roses led her to an oak door. Pushing aside the surprisingly light barrier, Hermione was startled by a flash of light as hundreds of candles flickered to life.

"Surprise!"

The shout made the brunette look around. All known (and quite a few unknown) Death Eaters in Europe were standing before her, sporting party favors and colored hats.

"What's all this?" The young witch exclaimed with a beaming smile.

"Well love," a husky voice said behind her. "Since those Weasels weren't concerned enough to throw you a birthday party, we decided that we would instead."

Turning, Hermione shrieked in delight to see her girlfriend, Bellatrix. Black, standing behind her. "You did all this for me?" She asked excitedly.

"Well, it's the least we could do for the Dark Lord's favorite spy." Dolohov called.

"Especially since you saved all our asses by introducing that Kevlar stuff during a raid." Mulciber added.

"Go on, Love." Bellatrix chuckled. "Have fun at your party. We even used the Imperius Curse to get your favorite Muggle singer here."

"You got Cher Lloyd to sing here? For me?"

"I'm a witch, dear. I can do almost anything."

Hermione leaned up to kiss Bellatrix's cheek. "And to think, I would have missed all this had I not accidentally killed Professor Snape."

"What a cruel, cruel world." Bellatrix laughed.

There you are. A nice little one-shot to keep you safe at night from all the big bad nasties. Review/Favorite?
