Hayner watched the train leave, and kept watching until the doors closed. In fact he continued to stare after the bizzare purple train that no one had ever seen before long after the doors closed that allowed it to leave in the first place. Pence and Olette kept glancing between him and what they thought he was staring at.

"Hayner?"

But the blonde didn't respond.

"You alright?"

He couldn't help but feel that along with Sora, something else had left as well. Okay, not something. Someone. He just couldn't shake off the feeling that he had met the brunette before. Who'd Sora remind him of?

"Yo, Hayner!"

What was the boy's name?

"Snap out of it!"

Starts with an "R"...

He felt something collide with the left side of his face. "What the-?!"

"Welcome back, loser."

Hayner spun around just in time to see Seifer's smirk and for his two best friends to shake their heads as if saying 'just like Seifer, to do something like that.' "What was that for?!" And he almost had it too!

Seifer's smirk faded away into a frown. "You were spacing out."

Hayner took the oppurtunity; "Oh, so you care?"

The look on the older boy's face was priceless. Rai and Fuu (who happened to be flanking him) looked almost as surprised, although not nearly as embarassed. "W-well... whatever! See if I help you again." He walked off, Fuu following closely behind him while Rai paused to mutter something followed by "y'know" (but other than that, incoherent) before departing as well.

"Come on Hayner, let's go too." Pence said, grinning so much that Hayner could easily tell he was trying to hide his previous worry.

"Yeah, sure..."

And so while Olette and Pence started talking about how their summer homework was going to take forever, and how it would be so much easier with just one person so they could split into teams of two, the blonde fell behind the pair.

He just couldn't help but think...

"And then there were three... Right, Roxas?"
