This hasn't been updated in a while, well I'm here to say that I will, but first I have to correct, and edit my older writing so, don't fret I won't make major changes just adding something here, and there. So, tell me what you think... Will this suck or not? Let me know! Also, Please tell me if I'm honestly doing something wrong because this'll just be a major wreck if you don't tell me! Again, thank you! And happy readings!

Hinata slumped over her tall stool, drinking was always awful but drinking alone always left a worse burning sensation at the back of her throat the bittersweet sake shook in her hand as she gulped down the mighty shot. She had been wallowing inside for hours, days maybe even months. Her tears at this point stained her cheeks a crimson hue but the sobbing never gave her any relief at all. Once again She had failed yet another S-rank mission, too many lives were lost and even though she was pardoned by Naruto it only made her wish to conceal her face in all entirety and then some. The one man who she had thought so highly of maybe even loved was head over heels for another. Well, she couldn't really blame him; who in their right mind would love a drunk? Maybe for another one, but Hinata still yearned deeply for his recognition. She knew he would have been better off without her; maybe he could have found someone strong and proud and independent, everything she wasn't, but just not her. Hinata's dark Anbu clothing was torn heavily the blood stain had all but vanished. Her head hung low at the thought of it not belonging to her. Her scars had been cleaned due to the inconvenience of finding Sakura in the room with Naruto nestled in each other's grips. Hinata knew she was uninvited, unwanted, she knew at that moment she was only an inconvenience.

Hinata was now Twenty one, and even though she was allowed to finally live alone was under the strict surveillance for every possible matter. She still visited her highly acknowledged family, the Hyuga's since she was still their next heir even though many have called for revision. Hinata knows this but still wishes she could change her life as a strong leader and not a common drunk that honestly couldn't remember where she lived. To be able to do something at all without disgracing anyone except herself. She slapped her money down on the table, taking up another shot she threw it backward laughing at the sudden feeling. She wobbly stood as she allowed her stool to tumble back to the ground behind her. She balanced herself up just barely passing through the door of the lonesome bar. Hinata emptied everything she held inside her stomach. She rose her hand wiping away the toxic taste of her vomit. Still, Hinata staggered onto the empty road passing the only salespeople who were still selling their goods at the shudder of night. Hinata's Father, Hiashi would visit her every week but it seemed she could only just offend him with her presence. Saying she had the right to live alone and he should begin to let her spread her wings. She felt the tears swell in her eyes as she slowly managed to get to her apartment. Hinata fished for her keys in her front pocket taking up the silver bundle. She dangled it in front of her as she took up the long flashy metallic one that she neatly embroiled home. She stumbled into her living room slamming the door behind her leaving the lights off as she blindly made her way to her bedroom. She fell head first plopping down she let her soft face melt into her marshmallow shaped pillows allowing her to sink into a light slumber. Hinata would try to sleep the alcohol off tonight but soon she felt the hangover coming in as she awoke lazily sliding her feet from the side of her bed. Having no choice she stood hastily and walked over to the bathroom ripping her clothes away. She filled the large round pale tub, Hinata protested a bit but she slowly sank into the water sending a shiver up her back, and letting out a pain filled moan.

"Aww!"

Hinata was awakened by the harsh rays that easily crept through her clear uncovered window. She took her time to get up but only receiving a blow. Her head ached at the harsh pain and the terrible sure coming stomach ache. Hinata scattered on to the floor looking up she gave a quick glance at the ticking clock. Hinata's eyes flushed with despair as retaliation hit, it was already two in the afternoon. She struggled to her feet; furthermore throwing crisp scented clothes over her pale soft skin. She ran to her bathroom washing her face and teeth as she sprinted to her door slamming it shut with a bang. She locked the door and ran down the heavy steps with her legs partially asleep. She sprang to the center of the city, passing many villagers angrily calling after her as sped past them without restraint. As the sun beat down over her she had barely reached the Hokage's office. Sweat beat down her forehead, Hinata's face alter to a beet red hue. Rising up, she noticed the crowd of people behind her giggling and offering her help. She gritted her teeth opening the door to find the bright headed Hokage sitting in his chair arms crossed. He had a merry expression as Hinata pocked her head into his office only for it to be stricken by worry at the sight of her extension. His voice cracked as he spoke,

" Are you okay?" He asked as she covered her mouth simply nodding, "Hinata, you're really late...I was about to come look for you." He stood from his desk walking over to her side.

"Hey y'know, you really don't have to take this mission...if you don't want to, right?" He asked as he rose his hand to her shoulder gripping it lightly.

Hinata spoke calmly a skill she had only just mastered, smiling slightly she spoke up clearly.

" No...I'll take it," Hinata said sliding her shoulder away from his reach. "I'm so sorry Naruto. I-I overslept a bit-" She said giggling as she tried to mask her sweat. This made her head pound a little, still, she kept the lying expression on her face. He smiled handing her an enormous blue scroll with the most delightful satin finish engraved to its outer wood.

"Promise...you're fine?" He pouted a little crossing his laughed it off but he kept a serious expression.

" I'm sending you with..." He paused only to look up in remembrance. "Sasuke-" Hinata's eyes widened,

" Why?!" She asked jumping up in a bit of shook.

"Since he's free?" He spoke slowly eyebrow risen at her a small smile in place. Hinata realized her crazed action and calmed down biting back her fear of the other man, " You both-" He spoke slower to reiterate. "Are our only available Anbu so-" He looked up at Hinata, who finally let the smile creep back into her lips. "Please take care of him, and don't open the scroll until, you know…" He gestured his hands in just a manner that made her slowly stare, "You reach the village." Naruto spoke in a tense voice not normal for the cheerful boy.

Sasuke was her friend just as much as others were but at his seventh birthday, both of their prestigious families deliberated, finally they each offered up members for an arranged marriage, it would make a powerful alliance, of course, to ward off other attacks from lower clans and offer peace between the tense clans. Sasuke and Hinata were volunteered as they were both encouraged to interact as children and having simple meals together or just play dates, courtesy of Sasuke's Mother who refused to watch a forced marriage stress as it did.

" Hello!" Sasuke chirped as he wound his fingers tightly into his mother's Mikoto hand he saw the gentle figure hide behind a tall, long-haired calm woman. The woman was graceful as grace works as she gave off a warm glow she turned to face the shriveled child,

" Hinata.." She spoke slowly reassuring her child. " Please say hello my dear child." She pats the young girl's back as she slowly peered from behind her mother's legs.

"H-Hello." She quickly gave a small bow pulling herself back hastily,

" Ahh... Sweetie comes for behind there-" Sasuke's mother motioned for Hinata who slowly came from behind her well-assuring mother. "We're here to have a delightful meal together, yes?"

" Yes, we are." Hinata's mother said letting her hand fall on the child as she held a steady grip on her skirt, " My lovely Hinata-" Her mother spoke gingerly, " Is very shy... With just about everyone." She apologized bowing elegantly.

" Nothing to be ashamed about-" Mikoto said waving off the other mother. " Sasuke himself is a blushing fool when meeting new-" She stopped as she felt the grip of her fingers grow tighter. " See, can't contain himself-" She giggled as her child fumed,

" Mum!" Sasuke shook his head, " I don't." He pouted crossing his arms as he gave a large quivering lip.

" I assure you Mikoto my child is quite gentle leading her to act like she does-" She took Hinata by her hand. " But she is strong." She assured nodding stiffly.

" Yes, Mrs. Hyuga.." Mikoto said, " I believe you like they say the quiet ones-" She knelt down a bit to face Hinata's pale eyes. "Are the ones you must watch out for." She said offering Hinata a small glance.

" Well, the hot-tempered ones too.." Hinata's mother mocked nodding her head in remembrance.

" Ahh.." Mikoto nodded her head in accordance, " Kushina?" She asked but gave off a small chuckle and with a heavy sigh, she pressed her eyes closed.

" Who's that?" Hinata asked leaving the comforts of her mother's skirt both parents jumped at the sudden question,

" No one-" Mikoto cut herself off. " I mean an old friend of ours." She said slowly; until Sasuke gave her a brow.

" Just an old friend, right?" Hinata's mother confirmed, " Now, shall we dine?" She asked a small smile in place.

" We shall," Mikoto replied taking her son by his hand they climbed the steps into the Hyuga's house entrance.

Hinata's head ached as she steps front. She hated all of this, she hates the village, her family, her friends, even her Hokage. "They" were told to that they would leave tonight so that they could arrive at the village during daybreak/ Hinata had staggered to the front of the office,

" Should I inform father?" Hinata thought as she left the Hokage's office, " Surly, he's having dinner with Sakura, right?" She thought eyes blazing with what could only be described as putrid.

" I should just go pack," She mumbled silently. "Then I'll worry about Father." Hinata let the glum look come over her face as she grunted and passed the old swing set that was strapped to a familiarly large tree, " Naruto-" She thought lips pressed. " I hope you find her to your needs." She scoffed holding back the staggering tears.

What do you think? Bad, good? OR ZHAT? I want to know, by the way, I know how to spell *what. But tell me if I'm just failing, and what I should, or erase... Also, help me this'll be a giant mess without critics! Again I'm sorry I haven't updated faster, I'll be editing everything to my ability which would probably kill me... Oh well. This one's kinda short, right? Yeah, but I'll try to expand it more visionary and add more character timing whether just a simple talk or a greeting! So, tell me what do you think?

Thank you
