"Oh my god, have you seen the rain out there? Way to end the summer eh god?" Jane said to her two best friends Banana and Nicole.

Summer holidays were coming to an end and they were having an "end of the summer holidays" sleepover. It was supposed to be sleeping outside in a tent with a barbecue and dancing but instead they had to have KFC in Louise's lounge watching and reading their beloved Harry Potter.

"I know what you mean Janey, I just wish I was back in Hawaii watching all the gorgeous surfer boys on their boards" Louise moaned. Jane laughed but Nicole didnt seem to have much of a sense of humour at that point.

"Yeah, well you aren't, so suck it up bitch and lets enjoy the rest of the summer we have... 'til we have to go back and listen to Mr. bloody Bancroft go on about world war 2 or the mystery behind witchcraft and wizardry, and as much as we wish it, it isn't true, I mean why cant he get that into his thick bald head?!" Nicole's face was red with anger, she felt very strongly about the subject of Mr. Bancroft.

It was just about 10 'o' clock when Jane noticed thee rain was still pouring down with major lightening and thunder going on.

Banana had fallen asleep on the sofa with HP6 over her face, Nicole was still intrigued by reading HP7 and watching HP5 which made Jane wonder how the hell she could do them both at the same time, but remembered she was Nicole and that she should never question Nicole. Jane was still interested in the lightening though, she thought it was pretty close and it could hit them any moment, she had tried to consult Nicole about it but Nicole had just mumbled a "shutthefuckupjaneystopworryingyoutwat" and stuck her nose back into her book.

But Jane was a worrier and was scared of the lightening.

Nicole put her book down and walked over to Jane who was leaning against the window ledge, "Don't worry babe, its far away, lets just sleep now, yeah?"

Jane nodded, but didnt sleep much that night.
