Hate
A red clad demon jumped through the trees as he was soon followed by a red clad priestess. The demon kept glancing behind him to see were she was. She was here, there, everywhere. He couldn't seem to shake her. Good. He wanted to tell her something of great importance.
Inuyasha, the damned half-breed, jumped into a clearing many miles from road or villages. The chirping of birds couldn't even be heard in the dense forest surrounding them. He turned around as his quest jumped into the space behind him. It was none other than the soul less Kikyo (sorry if it spelled wrong). The clay figure that had been filled with life watched him with cold, hate filled eyes as Inuyasha watched her with eyes filled with sympathy. The young woman who should be ashes, continued to glare daggers.
"Kikyo.." Inuyasha muttered, almost afraid to say anything to his long lost love.
"Inuyasha." she sneered. Her tone soften as she started to speak again after five grueling minutes of silence. "I've missed you. I've always missed you. Please, come here, so I can give you a hug." she stretched her arms out, expecting the half-breed to run into her arms like he always seemed to do. But this time he refused.
"No." he shook his head. "Not anymore Kikyo. I don't love you anymore."
The priestess's arms dropped to her sides. He had never refused a moment to get close to her. Never.
"But Inuyasha! Why?" Kikyo let sorrow fill her voice.
"Because I've found my true love. You are just trying to get me to trust you so you can drag me to hell. Well, I won't fall for it anymore." Inuyasha turned to go. "Good-bye Kikyo. Never forget, never remember what we used to have."
Kikyo snarled.
"Never!" she screamed. "You will be mine!" Kikyo grabbed her bow and an arrow and shot it towards the half-breed. It glowed a menacing with a menacing purple aura. Inuyasha just kept walking as it struck him in the shoulder. The priestess screeched as the half-breed disappeared.

In the village by the well, Kagome waited for her beloved half-breed. He had been missing for most of the day, and the reincarnated priestess was worried. She pulled at her green skirt as a light breeze flew into her black hair. She sat down outside the hut she had been allowed to live in while she was in the feudal era. The sun was beginning to set as she spotted the person she had wanted to see all day. Inuyasha walked towards the hut, stumbling as he walked.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled, as she bounced up waving. Inuyasha waved back as he got closer. That's when Kagome noticed the wound in Inuyasha's shoulder. It was extremely painful to the half-breed, and he was struggling to breathe. It looked like he was turning into his full demon form. Kagome ran to him and touched his shoulder. The purple aura that had filled it disappeared. Inuyasha began to breathe easier as he went back to normal. He smiled down at her and wrapped her in a hug.
"Thank you Kagome." he whispered in her ear. Kagome blushed. "I'm so sorry for ever hurting you when I saw Kikyo, or when I yelled at you. In fact I love you. I've loved you for a while. Please forgive me."
Kagome sniffled as tears poured down her cheeks.
"Inuyasha…" the half demon faced her. "of course I forgive you. And I love you to."
Kagome reached up and kissed Inuyasha for the first real time, and he kissed her back. After five years of dating, they married in a private ceremony only attended by their closes friends and family. After another year, they had their first child, with ears like Inuyasha and hair like Kagome's. The entire time, the undead priestess watched them from the shadows, never to belong with her old love again.
