Ack...! When I found out who Asakura Hana was from his fanlisting, I had to
write a fic, because he looks so adorable! If you don't know who he is,
well, he is the son of Asakura Yoh and Asakura Anna!

In Funbari Inn, noise was not a rare guest. Either mom was yelling at dad, or mom was throwing things at dad, or dad was... getting hit... There are also lots of times when dad's friends come over to throw a party... and then mom yells at them until they make the inn spotless again. Well... you get the picture... it just always seems like mom is angry with dad for not training and stuff even though he's the shaman king.
Yeap. That's right. My dad is the shaman king... but sometimes I wonder if that's not just some fabricated lie because mom always seems to force him into training even though he doesn't want to... of course... my mom is really scary when she's mad or annoyed, so I guess I can understand dad. Speaking of my mom, she's an itako, a spiritual medium, one of - if not the - best if I can boast a bit more. Now you must be thinking, what a lucky kid, right? Having the shaman king and a super strong itako for parents, it must be cool right? Wrong.
Mom and dad fight way too much... not even my music can drown them out. I don't understand how they could fight about almost everything... especially me. It makes me feel so guilty when they argue about how my life is... Mom says I'm becoming too much like dad - which is essentially becoming too lazy. Dad thinks I should learn to relax and enjoy life rather than always training my growing shaman powers.
Sometimes I just can't stand it... and I wonder how they could have possibly have gotten married and had me if all they seem to do is fight...!
But then... there are times when I come home to a silent house. The first time it happened, I was scared. Maybe mom finally got too angry with dad and left him, or dad couldn't stand mom's lecturing and did the same. You might think I'm exaggerating, but this is just the extent of how loud Funbari Inn always is, if not my parents, the other guests will surely supply some sort of noise. Well, anyway, I made a mad dash into the house and threw open the doors to the living room to see if any of my parents, or anyone at all, was home.
What I found was quite different from what my imagination could ever produce. There were my mom and my dad just sitting, with their eyes closed, as light music filtered through the radio. Mom's back was pressed against dad's chest and his arms were around her waist. Not even my loud opening of the door had disturbed them... they were just... so peaceful. I even saw my mom smiling softly as the two of them sat there... just enjoying each other's presence. I think I stood gaping for a few seconds before I closed the door, simply stunned by the sight of mom and dad not yelling at each other.
Now... this rare event only happens when there are no guests staying at Funbari Inn and when my cram school (which Uncle Manta had suggested I go to) runs a little late. But whenever it does happen, and I find myself walking into a silent house, I take Amidamaru with me to visit uncle Manta... so I can leave them to their silent nights.

Bunni: So... perhaps it wasn't *really* about Hana... but I did get another idea for another Hana introspective! ::grins:: And if anyone has scanslations or translations or even picture scans from Funbari no Uta, where he comes out, please inform me! I've wanted to see it ever since I learned what it was. So anyway... reviews are greatly appreciated, and please excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes. This fic was written on a whim and has not been revised for I am too lazy to do so.
