Cool, my first GO D. I've been fandoming for quite some time and decided to make my own contribution. Although I wanted to write Crowley and Aziraphale, I thought I'd rather much concentrate on my other fandom: Adam and Wensleydale. I think they're cute together, so why not? D Anyway, I'm going to the province tomorrow so I really wanted to post something GO related before I leave.

Out of all the components of Them, it was usually Wensleydale who would contradict Adam. The blonde had respected his friend for that. Adam had then witnessed this respect turn into admiration and suddenly bloom into infatuation. It had taken years to develop and, once there, refused to go away.
Usually, Adam took pleasure watching the brunette try to wrong him.
Now, he hated it.
"You two do look nice together, you know."
Adam turned to his friend, annoyance written in his face. He knew what the other was talking about: ever since last week, since the Johnsonites started singing: "Adam and Pepper sitting in a tree…", everyone kept talking about them. To be more specific, why they should be a couple.
They've been friends for years, they like the same things, they're inseparable, blah, blah, blah. Except it wasn't Pepper Adam liked.
"I don't think of Pepper and I in that way. Or in anyway whatsoever except friends."
"I'm just saying. I didn't say you two had to be together now. There's such a thing as the future."
Adam huffed and made a grab for the other boy's hand but Wensleydale pulled away.
"I like seeing my friends happy," he murmured, not looking into the blonde's eyes. Translation: We can't.
With a defeated sigh, Adam cast his eyes to the ground and said he'll think about it.
A year later, Adam and Pepper were found K-I-S-S-I-N-G but certainly not under a tree.
Wensleydale nodded approvingly and Adam smiled. Translation: Anything for you.
