I gazed up at the full moon as I leaned against the wall nonchalantly. I was waiting, waiting, waiting for what? I scanned the crowd and marked my target-a young man with dark brown hair and icy blue eyes.
There was one way you could tell a hybrid from a human and that was the eyes-they always transformed to an icy, steely blue.
I pushed myself off the wall and began to stalk the hybrid scum as he crossed the street. He turned down a dark street and I became automatically alert as I scanned around the corner. I reached behind my waist for the handguns I carried at all times and cocked them. Bracing myself I jumped around the corner and pointed the guns down the street at nothing. The hybrid was gone and I had let him escape. Kraven would be mad.
No. The hybrid was still around-I could smell him. He smelled like blood and fear. I looked around warily but saw nothing. At that moment something pushed me to the ground and dug it's claws deep into my back. I cried in pain and rolled over, knocking the beast off myself and shooting at it from my position on the ground. Moments later the hybrid-his name had been Josh Tyler-lay jerking about on the ground from his wounds. I stood and stalked over, placing my foot on his chest and speeding a few more bullets to his heart. The bullets were deadly to the hybrids-a mixture of silver nitrate and liquid radiation(captured daylight) in an amount that would kill most Lycans or vampires within milliseconds. But the hybrids were both vampire and Lycan so the compund took longer to work on them if you didn't fill them with enough of it. Hybrids could survive a silver radiation bullet if they got away and simply removed the bullet.
Damn them to hell.
I forgot.
