It was a sunny day and our heroes were having breakfast in a Pokémon center.ash was stuffing his mouth with food ,misty was eating at normal speed and glancing irritatingly at ash, Brock was as usual drooling at a hot girl sitting on.
"ash at least shut your mouth while eating"misty said
"hey why are you picking on me say something to Brock he is staring at that girl for some time"he replied annoyed.
misty pulled Brock's ear while saying"at least he has something else than Pokemon and food on his mind"she finished sarcastically.
"I have to agree with that ash you only show interest in Pokemon and food"Brock said rubbing his ear.
"what I have interest in a lot of things other than food or pokemon"he defended.
"ok then what about girls"Brock said.
"what about them?"ash asked.
"throughout your journey from kanto to here in jhoto you have never showed any interest in females who were very beautiful"Brock said.
"I don't go for how good looking a girl is Brock I don't care about it much of course it matters but only looks don't interest me"ash said.
"we'll than what about Gisele you blushed when you saw her"misty said.
"yeah ash I saw you blushing when Joe showed you her picture"Brock also said.
"I was just starting my journey then yeah I thought she was good looking but I didn't like her personality so now what most interest me is their personality"ash replied calmly.
"than tell me which personality interest you"Brock said.
"yeah I'm interested ash tell us"and misty was real interested she finally was going to know what kind of girl ash likes.
"let's see someone who is energetic as me,who doesn't hesitate to help her friends people or pokemon someone who is rough but also kind and congrats me when I do something good but not all the time so it doesn't get to my head, doesn't spend much time shopping like the other girls do and knows how to cheer me up that's all".ash said.
"I don't think you'll find anyone in your life"misty said but recognised that most of the characteristics are matching her.
"yeah ash that a long list tell me have you liked any girl we met on this journey?"brock asked.
"hmm..so far misty is the only one I like..."ash quickly shut his mouth with his hands turning red on his face.
misty was sure shocked to hear that but she decided to tease him"what did you say ash?she asked.
"nothing"he replied still red faced.
"you sure cause I swear that I heard you like me"she teased.
he couldn't take it anymore"fine i like you ,is it wrong to like your best friend huh misty now I will go get training"he blurted and finished his meal and ran to the battlefield.
misty smiled cause she knew that her feelings were mutual with ash but she would tell him she'll have some fun teasing him"wait we aren't finished yet Ketchum"she said and ran towards him.
Brock was watching them with amusing smirk"looks like this conversation turned into Misty's favour after all"he chuckled.
