Another super short story. I know, I'm lazy. Enjoy & review if you please.

The air hung thickly with unsaid words.

"Please come to Tenebuiro if you have the time. I'll show you around," Stella said as an awkward farewell.

"Yes, that sounds good," Noctis replied, not even sure if the strange woman heard him as she ran off down the hallway.

Occasionally thoughts had a way of suddenly slipping out of Stella's mouth. She was brimming with anxiety and couldn't help muttering to herself.

Even royalty have bad habits.

"Why, why, why did I use a lame line like that? 'I'll show you around'. What am I, a tour guide?" Stella stomped her way into the elevator, mentally slapping herself. "I should've said 'what a lovely jacket you're wearing my Prince' or 'you're looking very princely today my Prince' or…or…"

Stella halted the flood of thought when she noticed a very nosy, but very handsome, face staring around the frame of the elevator. He looked as deadly serious as he had during their entire conversation, but a smug curve faintly twisted his lips.

He leaned in towards her. "I told you, just 'Noct' is fine." His warm breath dusted her hair as he lightly brushed his lips over her cheek. Stella didn't know how one person could feel so embarrassed but so good at the same time.

Noctis abruptly straightened. He pushed the button on the control panel to begin closing the doors and backed out.

"Next time, try to keep your thoughts in your head." With that, the doors shut, and he was gone but for the tingle on her cheek.

Stella's face flushed. "Princes do not eavesdrop."
