Okay, guys, so, my new story. This first chapter is really short, because I just want to get a feel of if anyone likes it. But, if you do, I'll totally continue.

So, this story is after Eclipse…A few weeks ago Bella finds out through Charlie that Jacob left. And then, last night, Charlie comes home to tell her that Jacob is back. Now, Bella isn't sure what to do. Should she still try to be friends with Jacob, despite her new feelings? Or should see avoid him to avoid any more pain?

I'm still looking for a Beta…so please, please message me. I should have one last story out either later today or tomorrow. Reviews would be wonderful!! Love you guys!!

As always, not mine

Jacob POV

Jacob walked along the beach, shrugging into his shirt. He sat down just beyond the tide, watching nothing. He had come back eventually. He couldn't leave behind everyone that depended on him. Billy, Sam, the rest of the pack, B- No, He thought to himself. I won't do it. Despite his resolution to not think about her, he realized that this must have been how she felt when the bloodsucker left her. He wondered momentarily if she knew he was home, but that was too painful, so he quickly shook that away. Just as he stood to leave he heard something very soft, but it held so much pain it almost wrenched his heart. He turned and saw a girl just around his age. Her glossy black hair fell down her shoulders and when she looked up, her cheeks had the tracks of shed tears. As their eyes met, Jacob staggered back, stunned by the strength of the emotions that flowed between them. He sunk down into the sand, his eyes still locked into hers. Unable to look away, one thought kept running through his mind. I've imprinted.

Bella's POV

Bella cuddled into his chest, sighing contentedly. Edward stroked her hair and she shivered slightly as his arm wrapped around her tightly. The moment seemed so perfect, she hated to ruin it, but there was something that had been on her mind. "Edward?"

He buried his face into her neck, running the tip of his nose along her jaw line. "Yes, love?"

She took a deep breath, trying to focus, as Edward's ministrations had scrambled her thoughts. "Charlie said Jacob is back." She was surprised how much it hurt to say this. It seemed to get stuck in her throat and stole her breath, making it hard to breath.

Edward's golden eyes blazed into her own as he watched her, rubbing her back very gently. "Would you like to see him?"

I thought about that for a moment, weighing both sides of the argument in her head. Could she see him and not hurt? Not fall in love with him again? Or should she just stay away, avoiding the complications. She couldn't live without Edward, she knew that, and she had every intention of marrying him. But…would Jacob change that? "I…I don't know…"
