One Shot.

Pairing: NaruSaku, and a little NaruHina

Naruto...my heart's with you but, my mind has doubts...should I? You seem so happy when your with Sakura. I can't...I won't. But, I am your girlfriend. How could u fall for someone else? Oh, Naruto-kun...

Hinata stared out the window and saw Naruto and Sakura together. He was so happy. She wished she was the one that made him smile so. She turned away from the window with mixed feelings. She couldn't face him. Not yet. tears flowed down her pale white face.

The door was slowly opening and immediately Hinata ran and hid in a nearby closet. She knew Naruto was there. "Hinata? Are you there?" A voiced called for her. She shook with uneasiness but, walked out the closet and looked at him. "Something wrong?"

"N-no. Everything's fine."

"Good, I asked Sakura to join us. Is that okay with you?" She shook her head yes. Naruto...why?

He kissed her forehead and opened the door. "Sakura! Come inside." Hinata then immediately disappeared from sight. She headed for the kitchen. She was preparing lunch for all 3 of them.

After, a while she poked her head in the living room. "Naruto, your living room is beautiful"

Sakura gushed.

"Thanks, Hinata should take the real credit."

"She did all this? Wow."

"You know Naruto, Hinata's real lucky to have you." Sakura then added. What's that supposed to mean? Wait, what am I saying? -sigh-

There was a hint of jealousy in Hinata's mind. But, she contained it. "I'm Hungry" Naruto then said.

"Me too." Sakura replied. Hinata then, raced to the kitchen. She set the table and set down three bowls of ramen.

-In the living room-

There was an uncomfortable silence and Naruto spoke up. "Well, we should go eat."

"Y-yeah." she got up and lightly grabbed Naruto's arm. She smiled. And he smiled back.

They both looked at each other and were leaning in about to kiss when Hinata's voice was heard.

"Naruto, I made ur favorite!"

"W-we should get going" Sakura said shakily.

"S-sure." Naruto replied.

They both walked in and sat across from each other. After, 5 minutes of silence Hinata got up.

"I can't do this. I'm sorry, Naruto."

He then got up too. "What? Hinata, what are you talking about?"

"I know you're in love with someone else."

"Hinata, I-" He was cut off.

"I wanted u to be happy and more than anything I wanted to be the cause of your happiness. But, if I don't make you happy then I shouldn't stand in the way." She took her coat and opened the front door. 'Im sorry." She whispered. Then, she looked at Sakura. "Take care of him for me, please." With, that she left.

"Naruto, I'm sorry. "

"It's okay. Besides, now I should thank her."

"Why?"

"Because now I can be with the person who makes me happy."

"Who?"

He got closer to her and kissed her. "I love u, Sakura."

"I love you, too. Naruto..."

-a year later-

After going out for a year they got married and little did they know Hinata was there watching their wedding. She stood there and then quietly with noone noticing her she left.

-4 months later-

The phone rang at the Uzumaki-Haruno household.. Sakura picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Congratulations, Sakura. I'm happy for u. I wish u & Naruto good luck with the baby."

"Who is this?"

"An old friend."

With that the phone clicked. She tried calling again but, no answer.

-a while later-

"Honey, I'm home!" Sakura kissed her husband and told him what happened earlier.

"I think it was Hinata who called." She said softly. He rubbed her belly. It was real big.

"5 months left." He also thought it could've been her but shook it away.

-outside-

"Naruto..." Hinata said and the wind carried her voice. She walked past his house and never returned.

End. Or not?

Author's Note: It kinda sucked but, whatever. I tried. Should make an alternate ending?
