Prologue
Rosesong was walking around the Starlightclan camp. She was on her lunarstella vigil, and patrolling the camp. She wondered when the sun would rise, when she saw the palest light flicker on the horizon. Then as she watched happily as the sun rose up bit by bit, she heard pawsteps behind her. She turned around and saw her crush, Flamelight. When he lunged for her throat, her scream was cut off. She was dead. Flamelight left her there for the others to find.
Introduction to the clan (How it came to be)
Starlightclan was born in the mountains, on the highest peak in a sheltered hollow. This clan was born of the Tribe Of Rushing Water. Four cats climbed to the highest peak to be closer to the stars. There are now a whole clan of cats, hundreds of them, living there. There are many leaders, one the most powerful, labeled wisestella, the weaker, enlightenedstella. Heavenclan gifted all cats with the might of the stars, for they can survive at the top of mountains. But a great darkness coming. A new clan, Blackholeclan, is trying to black out the light and destroy Starlightclan. They have sent spies that act as assassins. As cats start to die, one leader with a broken spirit has been chosen to save Starlightclan. But the clan shunned her, and she lives on a seperate mountain peak. Until now.
