"Guardian! Carson! Please stay with me!" Yells the ghost also known as Jax flying back and forth trying to get some kind of reaction out of his Guardian. Her helmet missing somewhere along the way it was dropped, her hair, pale pink hair is now visible to the eye.

"Jax?" whispered Carson slowly trying to sit up, but in the process wincing from her injuries

"Carson! Oh thank goodness, I thought I lost you. I don't know what he did but it seems like I can't heal you," Jax states floating close to her face

A whimper slowly rises from her throat, holding her side where she was slowly losing blood. Tears formed in her eyes, she had no idea why or how this could have happened. This was not how their lives were suppose to go, she thought that together they would bring peace.

"Dawson,"

Flashback

"Alright this is the location so be ready for any of the fallen," calls Jax

looking around her gun, and knife ready to strike at any moment, Jax was right Fallen seemed to be itching to fight. fighting them off slowly was easy, taking a few hits was nothing, but the further they gotten to the woods it seemed to be harder.

"Guardian I am getting a weird distress signal," Jax exclaims

'Please, don't come this way. He has betrayed us all, darkness has overcome, please,'

"Wait! I know that voice isn't that Izzy's voice?" Carson perks up at the distress

"That would be correct sister," calls a voice behind her

Before she could turn around she's hit slashed across her back, letting out a scream she turns to see none other than her own twin brother.

"Dawson? what are you doing?" she asks feeling her back slowly heal.

"Well sister, I'm here to stop you from completing this mission, and too end your life," He laughs

"What! Your insane, who has done this to you?" she growls pulling her gun up

"Actually, this is all me, those three hunters we found on the moon, that was also me. You see Carson I'm slowly taking you guys out one by one and no one will ever know about it," He states walking around Carson and Jax

"Dawson this isn't like you, where is your Ghost?" asks Jax

"Oh, blow a bulb, you see I'm going to kill you, go back and tell them that you were murdered by the fallen and your ghost was taken for a reward. Oh, how will they react, how will he react huh? Carson the odd ball out, human, but has signs of not a human, but me all human even look human, but it seems like they like you better, always about you," he growls pushing Carson forward

backing away from him, in the corner of her eye she could see some fallen creatures waiting to attack. Looking back at Dawson he pulled out this gun that no one has ever seen and shot it at her and Jax, too late for them to move and knocked to the ground.

"Now this will make it easier to kill you, no little light to help you heal and come back to life this time," he laughs turning to the Fallen "this one's mine until I say so,"

stepping forward, he watches as she gets up holding her ghost close to her heart, "Please Dawson, you're my brother!" she screamed

raising his normal gun, Jailbird as he liked to call it pointed at her to shoot. turning around she started to run, trying to keep herself and her ghost safe. She would normally charge into battle, but whatever he did would change the outcomes. Screaming out in pain she keeps going even though she is taking serious hits.

"C-C-Carson please just go," Jax stutters

"Not a chance buddy, you're my best friend," she cries out getting hit again

not seeing Dawson moving quicker coming up behind her, he gets her side with the sword. Screaming out she trips tumbling down the hill. eyes blurring, she picks Jax up again looking behind her, standing at the top of the hill is Dawson and The Fallen beside him.

"After her," he growls

eyes wide she starts to run even faster trying to find a place to lay low, so they could get to their ship. Hearing a roar, it was too late to react the creature tackles her to the ground trying to kill her, getting some slashes in. looking to her side she sees Jax trying to rise, but failing. The creature taking one hand and starts to squeeze her side wound, her screams echoing through the woods.

"Carson!" Jax finally rising rams into the creature knocking it down.

rising slowly to her feet, she tries running as fast as she can, Jax beside her coming to an area she finds a small opening to hide in and cover with boulders. moving the last one in place to not be seen, she hears the screams of the fallen before falling into darkness the last thing she hears is Jax voice.

End of flashback

"How long have I been out?" she asks her hands out in front of her holding Jax

"five days Carson, so far we have been good no sign of either the fallen or...him," he is pausing not knowing if it was ok to say his name.

"I wonder if they'll come looking for us," she whispers wincing she reaches into her side pouch pulling out the queen of hearts card.

She had to think of some plan, to get them out of here but they had to find Izzy as well. Can't leave her behind, even if she was gone still she should still take her as well. hearing some crunching noises on the other side she holds her breathe. clutching Jax to her chest, knife in the other hand. she ran out of bullets and couldn't pick up more ammo.

seeing a rock being moved, her heart starts to pound ten times faster, they have been found and were going to die. tears rising again, clutching Jax tighter she waited for it to come. boulder after boulder being moved a blue light seep through to scan the area.

The last boulder finally being moved, she readies herself. raising her arm, she stops to see a ghost pop through.

"She's here," it calls

"Carson!" calls a familiar voice

"Cayde? no way they let him out?" asks Jax in utter disbelief

"Cayde?" she whispers

His face finally becoming visible, you could the shocked expression on his, "Car When I told you before you left to not die under a rock, I wasn't serious," he tries to joke

"Cayde!" she cries out wrapping her arms around his neck.

In that moment she didn't care about her wounds, or how bad she was in pain, he had found her. she never thought he would be the one to come all this way to find her, let alone leave his post.

"I got you angel, you're ok now," he whispers

slowly helping her out of the hole, she winces at the light, not seeing day light for several days. it was like she almost forgot what it was like, looking down she sees her helmet by his feet. Cracked and broken, flashes of her brother cross her sight, but she pushes the tears back.

"We need to get out of here," he says

"No,"

"No? what do you mean no? Guardian I can't heal you because of whatever he shot at us, we need to get you out of here, so you don't die," Jax babbles

"Woah, who shot you with what? why aren't we leaving?" Cayde asks

"Dawson. He shot us with something and now Jax can't heal me, but I can't leave Izzy here even if she might be dead," she says clenching her fist

blinking a few seconds, "Your telling me that your brother, your twin brother tried to kill you and stopped the process of Jax healing you? Why?" he asks

"You know that's a good question, I think he got tired of being in a shadow that really wasn't there," Carson sighs

shaking his head, he walks closely to Carson, grabbing her hands unwrapping them from fist, "I am so sorry Carson, I should've paid more attention to this, man I am not cut out for this,"

"don't say that Cayde, you are one of the best, and that is why I come to you, that I follow your every command. No one saw this coming so please don't blame yourself," she says feeling heat rise to her cheeks.

"Right! let's go find this Ghost," he coughs backing up and walking in front of her

smiling at her hands she looks up at Jax, "You dont' forget to stay near me ok, I can't lose you either buddy,"

nodding himself, they all set off to find this ghost, Carson takes a step and winces. Shaking her head, she had to get through this, but she stopped when a arm comes and helps her move forward. It felt like forever, there was no trace of Izzy and it hurt to think of what could happen.

"I'm getting something," calls Jax "It's this way follow me," zipping forward Carson and Cayde walk after him.

"Jax slow down, we don't know what or who is still out here," calls Carson

"Shes...

before Cayde to speak their knocked down by one of the Fallen, Jax stops and starts to come to Carson. Jax not seeing Dawson beside him, knocks him down to the ground, "Jax!" Yells Carson getting up slowly and running at Dawson.

"You son of a bitch!" she yells knife ready to stab

"I thought you had died, but I guess you can't keep a bitch down," he growls slamming her to the ground and kicking her knife away. whimpering she looks to see Jax a couple feet away from her, slowly crawling to him, Dawson slams his foot on her leg. she lets out a scream, but she finally grabs Jax pulling him to her chest.

"Hey Buddy, ol pal, did you forget about me?" whistles Cayde

already taken out all the other fallen that came with Dawson, he grins waving his gun ready to kill him. wasting no time instead he starts to shoot at him, couple hits get in before Dawson is off running away from them.

Cayde helps her up, she stares into his eyes for a bit, before seeing something in the corner of her eye. there in the rubble ahead is a ghost, but not just any ghost Izzy.

"C-C-Carson, J-J-Jax, C-C-Cayde you came?" she stutters

Flying back to the base, Carson is sent to the infirmary to be looked over, given all the shots she is needed, her and Jax were ok, finally being able to heal Carson, it felt like a part of them was missing but was back. But for Carson there was a part of her missing, her twin had left them, to the darkness.

Walking out of the infirmary she finds herself out on the balcony looking over the sunset sky, coming up behind her is Cayde.

"I was seriously going out of my mind when you didn't come back," he says leaning against the railing beside her

"I was scared out of my mind for Jax and myself, I thought we were going to die," she sighs looking over at him

"I'm sorry about your brother," he whispers

"It's ok, he chose that path and I chose this path, I know what will have to happen down the road," exhaling from all the pain that was being held in "Thank you Cayde for coming and getting me, I didn't think you would be able to leave,"

"Oh, I wasn't I snuck away, and it was worth it. Carson, I don't think you understand how much you mean to me, If you died out there and I found you, I would have probably short circuit, You mean...Mmf.

Grabbing Cayde by the cloak, she kisses him. His eyes wide at first, but slowly closing he puts his arms around her waist. slowly pulling way, she blinks at him, her face red, "I care for you a lot too Cayde,"

"God, I've been wanting this to happen forever," he chuckles kissing her forehead

Turning back to the sunset, Cayde holding her in his arms, Carson knew that this far from over, she would have to fight her brother again, and one of them would not be coming out of it alive.
