Lucy x Natsu

Natsu POV

It was almost Christmas and I was walking down through the market looking for a gift for Lucy. It had been some time since she had joined the guild and during this time I realized that I had fallen for her. She was perfect. Every time we went on a mission, I would find myself staring after her. I would make her mad just to see her yell at me, which I found very cute. Happy was traveling with me.

"Oi, Happy! What do you think Lucy would like for a present?"

"How about… some new clothes. She is always wanting to buy some, but when we go on missions, we end up damaging the town or something."

"Great idea Happy!"

Happy was right. Every time we actually went on a mission, our pay would be doct. Lucy would complain and everything. So off to the nearest clothes store.

Timeskip 30 minutes

I walked into Smallville Lady Boutique and started to look around.

"Happy, what size does Lucy wear?"

Happy tried to think. "Umm…. Well you should know Natsu. You're always looking through her things."

He was right. Every time I would go to her house, I would look through her things. I tried thinking back. Yes, I believe she wore a woman's medium if I wasn't wrong. So, I looked through the racks and shelves until I came across a black dress. It was kinda short but she wouldn't mind. She always wore things like that. It had white lace along the collar and the bottom. I also bought a pair of black heels to complete the look. I went to check out and asked the clerk to wrap them in a box.

After the clerk was finished, I grabbed the box. It was now wrapped in a light pink wrapping paper with glittery white lace ribbon around it. Lucy would love it. Now all I had to do wait for her to get to her house so I could surprise her.

I had sent Happy home. He wouldn't stop teasing me by saying," You liiiike her." And giggling like Mira. Anyways it had been 2 hours and Lucy was still not home. I was getting ready to leave before I heard the front door open. I carefully peaked around the corner and saw Lucy.
