It was just another day at Canterlot High, except for one small update. A new student was arriving today. She was a petite girl named Bella, who had transferred to Canterlot High to finish her last year of high school. She had semi-dark green skin, brown eyes, and long brownish blonde hair tied in a ponytail. She was wearing a purple jacket with grey trimmings, over a green shirt. On the back of her jacket was an omnitrix symbol with two hands holding, and a stylized H on it. "Well, I hope this school is nothing like my old one." She then looked at her duel monsters deck. "I wonder if anyone here likes to duel."

A few minutes later, Bella arrived at the building. "Well, here goes nothing." As she entered the school doors, she was immediately surrounded by dozens of multi-colored teenagers. "Woah!" She tried to squeeze through all the passing and talking students. "Same as my last school." Finally, she broke free and went up to a boy with green hair and a recycle symbol on his shirt. "Excuse me, where is the service center?"

"Yo! Name's Sandalwood," said the boy. "You new here?"

"Uh, yes," said Bella. "I just transferred. I'm Bella."

"Nice to meet ya," said Sandalwood. "And the center is down the hall and the second door on your right."

"Thanks," said Bella.

"No prob," said Sandalwood. "I wish you nothing but peace, love, and positive vibes." He then walked away.

"Wow, thanks you!" called Bella. "Well, what a nice guy. Oh! Better get going!"

Once she got her schedule, she immediately headed to her first class, geology. Inside the classroom, she recognized some of the students she saw from the big rush this morning. But there were also new faces she'd never seen. One was a girl with grayish mulberry skin and sapphire blue and violent hair that was wrapped up in a ponytail like hers. The girl wore a pink shirt and bowtie, and had black glasses. The other one was a girl with long indigo hair and white skin. She wore an ice blue shirt, a purple skirt, had long eye lashes, and a lot of make-up.

"Oh boy," thought Bella. "She must be the beauty queen of the school. I bet she thinks the whole school only exists to serve her and stuff. And that other girl must be the typical nerd, knows everything in the world, and likes comics. Oh well, every school has em." But the only open seat was right next to the nerd girl, so she sat next to her. "Here goes. Hi, I'm Bella…"

"Oh, you must be the new student. Hi, I'm Twilight," said the girl. "Nice to meet you."

"Wow, she's just as nice as Sandalwood," thought Bella. "Nice to meet you too. So, where's the teacher?"

"She should be here soon," answered Twi.

Just then, the Principal walked in. "Good morning class. I'm your Principal, Principal Celestia." The students raised a brow. "The only reason why I'm saying that, is because we have a new student joining us today. Please stand up, won't you?"

Bella did as she was told.

"Everyone," said Celestia. "This our new transfer student, Bella. Let's all try to make her feel welcome."

"Cool," said a couple of the students. Some nodded, others waved, one boy even winked.

"Did that guy just wink at me?" asked Bella. She then sat down.

"Moving on," said Celestia. "I will be filling in as substitute teacher today."

Twilight smiled.

"This is actually quite a treat for me," said Celestia. "I mean I love being your principal, but I do miss my old teaching days sometimes. Anyway, let's get started. Who can tell me the three types of rocks?"

Twi immediately raised her hand.

But before Celestia could call on her, the school speaker turned on and Miss Cheerilee spoke. "Principal Celestia! Please report to the library!"

"I'm sure it can wait," said Celestia.

"Immediately!" said Cheerilee.

"I'll be right back," said Celestia. "Twilight, you're in charge til I return."

Twilight got and began reviewing different types of rock formations.

A few minutes later, Celestia walked back in. "So sorry about that. Now, where were we? Oh yes! Who can name the three…"

Just then, there was a knock at the door, and Granny Smith walked in. "Um, there be a bit of a cafeteria crisis. Ya got a minute?"

Celestia took a breath. "Of course." Nearly two hours later, she came back. "Now let's try this again…"

A huge thud was then heard against the wall. It was coming from outside.

"Who can?" repeated Celestia.

Thud!

"Who can?"

Thud!

"Name,"

Thud!

"The,"

Thud!

Celestia's eye began to twitch. "I'll be right back." Celestia walked outside and found Rainbow Dash kicking her soccer ball against the wall.

After confiscating the ball, Celestia went back inside. "Okay! Who knows the three types of…?"

The phone then rang. Celestia's eye began to twitch again as she answered it. "Can't Vice-Principal Luna handle it? Okay, I'll right there. Won't be but a moment!" And she left the room again.

A while later, Celestia returned. "I'm back! And I'm quite certain that will be the final interruption. Now, who…" The bell then rang.

Bella was shocked as she got up.

The beautiful girl then walked over to her and Twilight. "Well, she was right about one thing. That was the final interruption."

Celestia then face palmed herself.

"Are all the classes like that?" joked Bella.

"Nope," answered Twi.

"Just sometimes," joked Rarity. "By the way, my name is Rarity, darling. And you are?"

"I'm Bella," answered the girl.

"Very nice to meet you, darling," said Rarity. "Oh, and I love your coat. That's actually given me an idea for a new wardrobe."

"Do you sew?" asked Bella.

"Oh yes," answered Rarity. "I actually work at that clothing outlet in the Canterlot Mall."

"Really?" asked Bella.

"Yes indeed," answered Rarity. "Want to drop by after school one day?"

"Sure, why not?" asked Bella.

After getting through the rest of her classes, the bang rang and everyone rushed out.

"Wow, that was a very good day," said Bella. "Everyone here is so nice. I mean that Trixie girl was a little stuck up, but, whatta gonna do?"

"Bella!" called Twilight. She was standing with a few other students.

Bella walked over to her.

"Hey, I just wanted to introduce my best friends," said Twi. "This is Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Sunset Shimmer."

"Wait," said Bella. "I've heard of some of you! Rainbow Dash, Yeah! You're the one who beat Yusei Fudo!"

"Awesome!" said Rainbow. "I'm glad my reputation proceeds me."

"And Twilight," said Bella. "I can't believe I didn't remember you sooner. You won that World Duel Carnival and beat that Yuma brat."

"Wow," said Twi. "I… didn't know that tournament was such a big deal."

"And Sunset," continued Bella. "You won the KC Grand Prix. That was so cool!"

"Oh! Um… thank you," said Sunset.

"And Applejack, you came runner up in every one of those tournaments," said Bella. "You're like, in the top five."

"Aw sucks," said AJ. "Thank you kindly."

"Wow, I can't believe I'm meeting all of you!" said Bella.

"I can't believe I'm meeting you!" said Pinkie. "If you know my friends, then you're automatically my friend! Yay!"

"Nice to… meet you too, Pinkie Pie," said Bella.

"Hey, are you into dueling?" asked Fluttershy.

"Totally!" said Bella.

"Cool!" said Rainbow. "What kind of deck do you run?"

"A HERO deck," said Bella. "I have all the HEROS in the world. Elemental HEROS, Destiny HEROS, Masked HEROS, Vision HEROS, even Evil HEROS and a few Neo-Spacians."

"Woah!" said the girls.

"We gotta duel sometime," said Sunset.

"How about tomorrow?" asked Bella.

"Perfect!" said Sunset. "Right after school!"

"Yeah!" said the others.

"Oh!" said Rarity. "I have to write a reminder note."

"About what?" asked Bella.

"The new idea I got for my next creation," said Rarity.

"Is it a new dress?" asked Fluttershy.

"Actually, it's a new coat design based on Bella's outfit," explained Rarity. "I'm going to call it "Midnight's Shade." I already drew the sketch, what do you all think?"

"Wow," said the other girls when they saw the impressive sketch drawing.

"That's great," said Sunset.

"Very stylish," said Twi.

"Amazing!" said Pinkie.

"Definitely," said Fluttershy.

"Awesome!" said Rainbow.

"Nice, very nice," said AJ. "And I don't even know about fashion. That says a lot."

"Beautiful," said Bella. "Did you really get the idea from my coat?"

"Why of course, darling," said Rarity. "It's a wonderful display of what kind of person you are. I believe we can express ourselves though our wardrobe. Besides, there's beauty in everyone, from all sorts of angles. And as long as you keep a fresh eye and mind open, you never know where inspiration is going to strike."

"Wow," said Bella. "That was beautiful."

"Oh, thank you, Bella," said Rarity. "I'm to get started on this, the second I get to the shop. See you all tomorrow!"

"See ya'll!" said Applejack.

"Bye!" said the others. They then started walking home. Bella was walking in the same direction as Rainbow, so they walked together.

"So, where's your place?" asked Rainbow.

"Down the street, and to the left," answered Bella.

"Cool!" said Rainbow. "I'm on the right! Hey, I'll race ya to the stop sign!"

"Hey! Wait up!" called Bella as she raced after Rainbow.

But as they neared the sign, a rabbit suddenly hopped out from the grass right in front of them.

"Yikes!" said the girls.

Bella stopped at once, but Rainbow almost tripped over the tiny creature and fell. "Ouch!"

"Rainbow!" cried Bella. "Are you okay?!"

"I think so," said Rainbow. "My elbow hurts a little." She then looked and saw a little bit of blood on her elbow. "Uh-oh."

When Bella saw the blood, her eyes widen in fear.

"Don't worry," said Rainbow. "Sometimes this happens in soccer, so I'm used to it. Besides, I always carry a few extra Band-Aids in my backpack."

"Okay…" said Bella. "Are you sure you're alright…?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine," said Rainbow. "Are you? You look a little… scared."

"Sorry, Rainbow," said Bella. "I just… can't stand blood."

"Oh, you get that creepy feeling in your stomach?" asked Rainbow.

"Yeah…" said Bella remembering a very bad experience from her past.

"That's okay," said Rainbow. "I get it whenever Zephyr is around me."

"Who's Zephyr?" asked Bella.

"Fluttershy's little brother," answered Rainbow. "He thinks I'm so into him."

"Is he a freak?" asked Bella.

"No," said Rainbow. "He's just lazy, obsessive, and he thinks he's a lady's man."

"So, he's a freak," assumed Bella.

Rainbow giggled. "Yeah, I guess. But underneath it all, he's an okay guy."

"So you have… oh, what's the word?" asked Rainbow. "I heard Twilight and Sunset say it before…"

"Hemophobia," said Bella.

"Yeah that's it!" said Rainbow as she finished bandaging her elbow. "Well, everyone's afraid of something. Fluttershy is afraid of everything. Please don't tell her I said that."

"My lips are sealed," said Bella.

"Thanks," said Rainbow.

"No prob," said Bella.
