As Sasuke approached the village gates he began to smile, it had been three years since he last seen the dobe and he was ready for a rematch between Uchiha and Uzamaki .
"Sasuke" Suigetsu called interrupting Sasuke's train of thought "She's in pain again , what do we do?" Sasuke rolled his eyes before coming to a stop. "Bring her here." he said as he reached into his kunai pouch and retrieving a small vial and kunai. Suigetsu lead the young girl up to Hawks leader and then took a seat on the nearest rock while he watched Sasuke work.
"Hold still Hinata, this is going to hurt…a lot" Sasuke then pulled out a lighter and heated the tip of the kunai. "Drink this." he said handing her the vial of blue liquid. "It's an antidote, I may not be a medical ninja but, I do have some experience." Hinata didn't hesitate in drinking the liquid, this was Sasuke's third time helping her since he had found her in the middle of an enemy ambush on her squad, she trusted Sasuke enough to let him try to save her life.
"Sasuke these two are starting to come around." said Juugo as Kiba and Shino to make small noises and movements. "Damn, we should be inside the village by now." Sasuke said as he put the lighter away and held up a kunai with a red hot tip "Hinata this is to keep out infection from the kunai, I am going to re-open the cut made by the poison kunai and try to get more of the poison out, do you understand?" Hinata nodded her head weakly and offered the left side of her face showing the small cut on her cheek that was trying to heal. " Bite down on this." he said as he slid a small block of wood between her teeth.
Sasuke focused as he carefully slid the hot kunai across Hinata's cheek. She winced in pain as he finished reopening the cut, he then threw away the kunai and brought his face closer to hers . " I'm about to start getting rid of the poison, it wont be any less painful than the kunai since the poison is gel based." Hinata looked away and prepared for the pain. Sasuke firmly pressed his lips on the cut and began to suck the gel from her wound and spit it into a clean vial ( for Konoha medic nin) he continued this until he was convinced there would be no need to stop before reaching Konoha. (which really wasn't that far away)
"Man that looked wrong." Suigetsu chuckled. Sasuke ignored him and got to his feet.
"We got company." Said Suigetsu as Sasuke hoisted Hinata onto his back. "How many Juugo?" Sasuke asked closing his eyes. "Six, three from the leaf and three from the sand, two female and four male." as Juugo finished his briefing Sasuke opened his eyes and came face to face with the Kazekage, his siblings and the InoShikaChou trio.
" What a drag, the one time I wasn't being lazy and decided to investigate something I gotta deal with you."
"We're not here to fight." Suigetsu said as he remained seated on his rock. "Then why the Sharingan and hostages." countered Kankuro
Hinata raised her hand as high as she could, trying to discourage the almost inevitable battle, this caused Gaara and Sasuke's group both to stare at her. Sasuke then de-activated his sharingan and readjusted Hinata on his back.
"What's wrong with her?" asked a concerned Temari getting closer to the Uchiha. "Stay back!" Sasuke warned as he took a step backwards. "She needs medical attention as soon as possible, the longer we stand around the less time she has." Gaara understanding the gravity of the situation turned around and began walking toward the Leaf. " Follow me." said the Kazekage in his usual calm manner. Suigetsu walked over to Sasuke grinning. "Glad we ran into someone who isn't a moron."
