She's your sister in all but name, Caleb thought to himself as he watched Hay Lin drawing Cornelia. She's your sister in all but name and you're not supposed to think of her like that.

"Hi Caleb. What do you think?" she asked with a smile as she showed him her latest work of art and Caleb allowed himself a small smile. She was incredibly beautiful when she smiled and he wondered why it had taken him so long to realise it.

"It's wonderful," he said as he looked at the piece and he had to admit that it was certainly a really well drawn picture. Hay Lin's artistic skills had really improved from their already impressive capabilities when he had first met her all those years ago.

Now she was sixteen and had blossomed into a truly beautiful and vibrant young woman who still bounced off the walls. The only trouble was that he had, rather embarrassingly, started to notice that she had grown up a lot in other areas.

"Hell-lo, Earth to Caleb?" Cornelia said impatiently as she waved her hand across Caleb's face, interrupting his musings. "Hay Lin asked you what you thought of her latest painting."

"Oh yeah. Really good picture Hay Lin, you're really talented," he said and she gave him one of her typical million-watt smiles that had started to make his heart beat faster whenever he saw it these days. He gave himself a mental shake. THIS WAS HIS SISTER IN ALL BUT NAME! He reminded himself firmly.

"Poor boy…he's still in shock at seeing my intense beauty and sexiness," Cornelia said with an amused smirk that hinted that she knew far more than she was saying.

"Especially since you dumped him for Irma!" Hay Lin added quickly, before her eyes suddenly lit up. "Ooooh, we should so try to set Caleb up with Miranda! I'm sure they'd be perfect together!"

"Miranda!?" he said as he sat up in shock. "Miranda!?"

"Oh I think Caleb might want to date someone who hasn't tried to kill him," Cornelia said with a smirk and Caleb glared at his ex-girlfriend. Surely she hadn't twigged about his…attraction to her friend?

"I am present, you know," he said in a low growl, but Hay Lin ignored him. Fortunately (or perhaps that should be unfortunately) Cornelia seemed to get the message.

"Oh I think Caleb doesn't need to be set up with someone," she said with an expression of amusement. Clearly she had spent too much time in Irma's company, Caleb thought to himself in a dark tone. "In fact, I think Caleb has already got his eyes on someone else." Cornelia continued and Caleb gave her a killer glare.

"Oooh, who is it?" Hay Lin asked excitedly and Cornelia smirked at Caleb once more before turning to leave.

"Oh I think we'll find out eventually. If he ever works up the nerve to tell her," she said as she turned to leave. "Seeya later guys."

"I wonder who she was talking about?" Hay Lin asked puzzled, before her face lit up once more and she bounced away to her room and Caleb watched her nice bum, before giving himself another mental shake.

"It's just a lust thing. Just the consequence of living with a beautiful girl. There's nothing more too it!" he snapped to himself as he walked over to his bag and pulled out his homework. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop thinking about Hay Lin.
