I don't own Lelouch Lamperouge, and neither Light Yagami.
Light was walking along the road, chuckling devilishly to himself. Hahaha, he thought, now that the Death Note is in my hands, I shall rule the world! I shall eliminate those who are worthless in this planet! They will all die! He couldn't stand the thought that he will be the one to destroy the evil in this world. He burst out laughing, "Muhahahahaha! No one can stop me now, for I have the power of the Death Note by my side! I can freely write those who oppose me right in those unmarked pages! The world will be mine! MINE!" Light's plan was way too far – he didn't realize that someone had overheard what he had said.
"Hmm… so you're gonna be the so-called savior of this world? You'll have this creation on your own? Sorry, but I won't be allowing that." Light gasped and spun around. "And who might you be, huh? Acting all high and mighty. You can't tell me what to do." The guy let out a guffaw and replied, "Don't you have any idea who I am? I'm the all-powerful Lelouch vi Britannia!" Light scowled. "I won't just hand the world I will own to you. It's mine! All mine." Lelouch frowned. "Huh, let's see. Thus, I shall make you be under my command then." Lelouch took out his purple contact lenses and his Geass shown brightly. Light was taken aback, but he didn't show his fear. "NO! I will never give it to you! I won't dare lose against you! I am Kira!"
He pressed a button on his watch and it pulled out a small piece of paper. He quickly got a pen from his pocket but Lelouch was quicker. He pushed away Kira's hand and the pen flew out from his hand. Kira growled and punched Lelouch on the face. Lelouch fell back and held his face. Kira ran to pick up his fallen pen and activated his 'shinigami eyes.' He easily saw the information above Lelouch's head and grinned. Lelouch, who had already stood up and was holding out his hand in front of him, was about to command Kira to kill himself but he stopped. His chest suddenly ached, and he dropped down on all fours. He looked up to see Kira, his smirk that held his victory. Lelouch strained to speak but could only stutter.
"Kira… you have defeated me. It's such a shame to see me like this, struck down before your feet. I also pity you, for you do not know what lies ahead." He paused to choke out a laugh, and continued. "I have lost, and I can't forgive myself. But remember this, Kira, that someone will avenge my death and—" Lelouch was beginning to meet his death. "Zero – a man who will stop you from seizing this world – will come – and stop you!" Kira just looked down on him, still smirking. "I promise you, Kira! This isn't the end, our fight isn't over yet! Mark – my – wor—" Lelouch halted, and slowly brought his body down to the ground. Kira had won, and he knew that. He laughed and laughed.
"The world is mine, Lelouch vi Britannia! No one can ever, ever stop me!" Then, hearing what Kira had said, Lelouch shut his eyes. You promised me, Suzaku, that you would always stay by my side forever. Do your job well as… Zero. And he never opened his eyes.
