Of Easter and Cake

"Sleep…"

"No."

"Sleep…"

"No."

"Sleep…"

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF BED!"

Light bolted out of bed as if shot from a cannon. L stood leaning over him a huge grin on his face. Light rubbed his eyes and looked at the alarm clock. "L it's 4:00 in the morning."

"Exactly! I have a surprise!" L jumped of the edge of the bed pulling Light with him (A/N The chain). CRACK! Light looked down. "L why is there a pink egg on the ground?" L turned around. " Light you broke it!" Light looked at him as if he were crazy. "Never mind. Come on!" L continued on down the hall, banging on each door he passed.

"Wake up and greet the day! Don't step on any eggs!"

Half hour later

"Why the hell do you have us out here L?" growled Light's father,(A/N I forgot his name) definitely not a morning person.

"We are going to celebrate the American holiday of Easter!" Evil glares came from all around. In about two seconds Light and L were the only ones left. "Well I think that went well!" L said brightly. "At least your still here Light! That's the spirit!"

Light wordlessly held up his chained wrist.

" Well yes there is that but no matter! We'll have such great fun! There are many eggs to find."

Another half hour

" How many eggs have you got?"

Light held up an orange egg.

"Oh."

Flashback

"I found another egg L!"

"Really? Let me see!"

Pause.

"Urm L? You stole my egg."

"No I didn't! That is offensive Light!"

End Flashback

"Yeah…" Light said, "Anyways, what do we do now?"

"We eat cake!"

In the kitchen

"Cake, cake, Cake, cake, Cake, cake, CAKE!"

L danced around the kitchen dragging Light with him. "L I really don't like cake that much."

"Nonsense Light! Everyone likes cake!"

To prove his point he shoved a big gob of cake in Light's mouth, cutting of his response.

" Mrrfflllflf!"

"What's that Light? Cake is as delicious as I think it is? Why thank you. I do enjoy being right."

"L you are such an asshole!"

"Oh noes! He's after me!" L ran as fast as he could out of the kitchen. Unfortunately, being chained together and all, Light was only two feet behind him. It was a matter of seconds before Light caught up to him. Sadly they were at the top of the stairs and when Light crashed into L they both went tumbling down.

"Ugh…"

L opened his eyes to see Light straddling him, their faces only an inch apart.

"Well," said L, " this is certainly a compromising position."

"Yes, and I have come up with the perfect punishment for you."

L had only a split second to worry before Light's lips crashed down on his own.

L's eyes widened and it took a second for him to realize what was happening. He was frozen in shock. Light pulled back looking embarrassed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean-"

He was cut off as L pulled his head down forcefully. Their lips melted together and it was like they didn't need air. Light licked L's lower lip and L happily obliged opening his mouth up for Light's warm muscle. "Mmmm…" L moaned when they broke apart, gasping. " You taste like cake." Light chuckled. "Unfortunately."
