"Damn it!"

"What's wrong, brother?"
"My sock!"

"Your... sock?"
"It's missing!"

Edward Elric glared at his single sock as if it knew where its mate was.

"Did you look on your foot?" asked Alphonse Elric. Ed waved his bare feet in the air, one regular, one automail— neither with a sock.

"How do you lose a sock?"
"I DON'T KNOW!"

Ed continued throwing clothes. A worn sock landed on Al's head.

"Brother, look."
"I'm looking!"
"Brother, really..."

"Damn sock..."

"Brother!"
"Just let me find the stupid sock!"

Al sighed and threw the sock at Ed.

"I've lost the other one now! Oh, there it is..."

There are some times when you may be a soul in a suit of armor, but you just have to hit your head against something. For Al, this was one of them.

"Did you check your shoe?"

"Why would I leave my sock in my shoe?"

Al sighed and looked.

"Here it is, brother..."

"Where is it!?"
"In your shoe, like I said..."

"...Really?"
"Yep."
"Oh."

Ed put on his socks.

"...There's a hole in it," he said, wiggling a metal toe.

Al hit his head against the wall again.
