A/N: Okay, so this is ridiculously short xD But the point of it is to be powerful in itself. It's also supposed to show Buffy's potential as a friend. The Scoobs will always be together and nothing can tear them apart. I wrote this for them.

Dedicated to anyone that loves their friends 3

The Grad

"Buffy Anne Summers."

There was a chorus of cheers from her friends and some general applause from the rest of the audience.

Good. They should cheer.

Buffy had busted her butt to finish over three years of college in one year, working on weekends, all night, and over breaks. And now her hard work had paid off - she was graduating alongside Willow.

In the crowds were Spike, Dawn, Xander, Giles, and Andrew. Angel was probably hiding somewhere, too. Well, he was probably lurking in the shadows with Spike, since Spike obviously couldn't sit in the sun with the rest of Buffy's friends.

Buffy majored in psychology. Theoretically, she was a good psychiatrist. She was good at talking to people, could relate to pretty much any situation they threw at her, and she had the strength to fight the wackos if they attacked her or anything.

"Joseph James Lartin."

Oh. They were announcing the professors now.

"We give you University of Californa: Sunnydale's graduating class of 2004!"

As Buffy jumped up to throw her cap in the air with everyone else, she was suddenly struck by the graduation frenzy. To hug everyone around her: these people she would probably never see again. But first was Willow.

Buffy ran off the stage and toward Willow. They did one of those weird jump-hugs and then they were surrounded by their friends and family.

They were all there just for them. For Buffy and Willow.

Buffy didn't know what life would chuck at them next, but the Scoobies would always be together. At the core, it was Buffy, Xander, and Willow. Everyone else, excepting Giles, was interchangeable, but the four of them were solid and there to stay.

That was all that mattered.
