Kikyo's Despair

Like the title says, this is a poem about Kikyo's despair.

"Kikyo's Despair"

She poured a bucket of innocence over her body

And she scrubbed her heart with a scrap of purity

To cleanse away the dirt that had befallen her.

But the more innocence she poured over her body

And the more purity she scrubbed her heart with,

The more dirt that befall her.

So she poured a bucket of hatred over her body

And she scrubbed her heart with a scrap of pain

To cleanse away the sorrow that had befallen her.

.

But the more hatred she poured over her body

And the more pain she scrubbed her heart with,

The more sorrow that befall her.

.

So she poured a bucket of purity over her body

And she scrubbed her heart with a scrap of innocence

To cleanse away the dirt that had befallen her,

And she poured a bucket of pain over her body

And she scrubbed her heart with a scrap of hatred

To cleanse away the sorrow that had befallen her.

And the more she poured a bucket of purity over her body

The less dirt that befall her;
