I do not own Twilight or the characters!

"I wonder how it is up there," Leah said looking up at the cloudy sky. Her and Jacob had been coming to the beach often, to bond, to talk, or to vent. They had a better understanding of each other since they were Alpha and Beta. Leah stopped picking at Jacob about how Bella chose a dead guy over him. Jacob stopped calling Leah a bitter harpy pondering after something she would never have again.

" I bet Harry is up there making his famous fish fry," Jacob said digging his fingers deeper into the sand. Him and Leah were side by side, hands holding each other. They weren't in love, or even having sex. They were just friends that actually could be friends with no love or sex involved. Friendship was all it would ever be.

"I miss him. Everything would be so much easier with him here," Leah replied looking at a cloud move across the sky. The sun was peeking out from behind a cloud, it was almost as if heaven was opening up. Heaven was opening up to suck her right on up. It was opening its gates to take her away from all this.

" I miss him too. I remember when I used to come over and he would give me a quarter. He gave me a quarter every time I came to visit. One week I got five quarters and I bought a bag a chips. I was the richest boy in La Push that week." Leah smiled at Jacob's story and held his hand tighter. Her dad was always known as the 'giver' in La Push. For Halloween he gave out caramel apples instead of candy. He always was giving out quarters to neighborhood kids. He was always reassuring his family that he would give them the world if he could. Yea, he was a good man.

" Do you think he's proud of me," Leah asked turning her eyes toward Jacob. Jacob frowned and kept his eyes on the sky.

" Of course he is. You are still here, not running away from your problems like I do," Jacob explained. He was referring to the time when he found out about Bella's engagement and ran off.

" But you came back and you didn't disown your best friend," Leah said shielding her eyes from the sun. It was bright now as if Harry was smiling down upon them.

" He's proud of you though Lee. Don't you ever forget that." Jacob sat up and looked down at Leah. Leah smiled weakly and gave Jacob's hand another squeeze.

" Just like your mom is proud of you," Leah said. Jacob nodded his head. He kissed Leah's cheek and stood up. Leah knew he was going back to Nessie and she didn't care. Jacob was not like the other's with his imprint. He didn't ignore everyone else just to be with her. He made sure he spent quality time with his pack, especially Leah.

" Jacob," Leah called out. Jacob turned back around to face her. She didn't look up at him or even notice he had turned around. " Thanks." Jacob smiled and continued to walk away.

Leah still sat on the sand, looking up at the sky. All the clouds were cleared away and the sun shined brightly.

" I can't wait until I reach heaven daddy," she spoke up into the sky.

This kind of just came to me so I typed it up. I didn't want to let it just sit on my computer, so I am sharing it with you all. Hope you enjoyed!
