Eclipse Prologue
Tell me the story...
About how the Sun loved the Moon so much, that she died every night…
…To let him breathe.
Tell me how every time the stars shined, and the Sun cried, the Moon would hold her and say;
"You're going to be… you're going to be fine. I promise."
He promised.
Promised every night.
Every night.
But the Sun still cried. Not because it hurt, but because she was scared.
"I'm scared…" she'd tell the Moon.
"Why?" the Moon asked.
He asked every night.
The Sun never could tell the Moon why.
Because she was forbidden too.
Because no one else knew the rest of the story…
Of how the Moon loved the Sun so much…
…that he faded everyday so she could sing.
And she sang everyday to him as he slept.
Just like how he would hold her while she wept.
And they both wished.
Wished that one day…
…They could eclipse.
It may not make sense now... but it will...
